Inside possibly okay. Outside could do with a face lift

Lovely hosts, good food. Good atmosphere. BUT place needs a lot of money spending on it renovating & updating all through as it was damp, evidence of leaky roof. Fluff & dust under bed & edges of carpet, so not hoovered in those areas in a while..

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Ian and Lesley are wonderful hosts and nothing is to much bother for them. Meals were lovely and homemade, all for a very reasonable price.Would recommend this place to anyone travelling in the area, you'll be made to feel at home from start to finish.

Small older style B&B pub overlooking river. Owners, Lesley and Ian fantastic welcoming hosts. Excellent evening meal in bar and delicious home cooked breakfasts with locally sourced foods - especially home smoked sea trout! Scenic views and river walk outside.

The food choice amd quality was outstanding. Iain and Lesley, thank you for your hospitality - it was just like being at home you made us all feel so welcome. Thank you

It was an experience. Welcoming hosts but the building is a little past its best. Strange overall, all the requisite parts are there (mostly) but they somehow don't entirely gel. A slightly idiosyncratic underlying layer provides the cherry that makes it an experience rather than something one never wishes to experience again.

Lovely location but the hotel is in need of a lot of attention.
