One of the best meals I have ever had. Lovely location, amazing attentive staff and food cooked to perfection.

Myself, my partner and our dog visited the Edinbane Inn as a last minute dinner plan while we were staying in Skye. I cannot stress enough how happy I was that we did. I am vegetarian and my partner is vegan so sometimes I can be hard to find something imaginative on the menu. This was not the case at the Edinbane Inn. The food was absolutely delicious, so delicious I ended up having three courses! The menu is small but clearly this is to the benefit of the people eating there since the food was freshly cooked and carefully created. I had the halloumi salad (also a vegan version available) and my partner the vegan burger and both of us were highly impressed. We live in Glasgow and visit dedicated vegan restaurants and can say without a doubt it is one of the tastiest vegan/veggie meals we've had.The fact it was dog friendly was brilliant and the service was exceptional. A woman was serving us during our visit and she was so lovely and tentative it made our visit even more enjoyable. I honestly cannot rate it more highly.

We enjoyed a lovely vegetarian dinner here - the dishes were amazing for vegetarians and were well thought through Vs some places who would just add a token vegetarian dish on the menu to make it friendly. We had the chickpea halloumi salad and the lentil sweet potato burger. Tasted of fresh ingredients and high quality food. The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight though! I don't want to eat it anywhere else now to spoil my experience. Edinbane Inn - you've set the bar high!

The food was excellent, however the beer was off, when I told the staff I was given quite a frosty reception. The reolcment beer I was given was also off.i was not the inkt person to raise the issue when we were there. This would have been a five star if the service matched the food.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Would recommend going early as it is (justifiably) very popular. Good service. So nice we went back later in the week. Highly recommend the panna cotta.

Nice relaxed pub atmosphere without being noisy as it consisted of lots of separate rooms. Service was friendly and attentive. The scallops were well cooked but the accompaniments were a strange choice and didn't add anything. The calamari were delicious-perfectly cooked and in a lovely batter. Absolutely perfect! For main courses, the fish and chips was nice, with a well cooked fish and good batter. Not memorable in any way but certainly nice.A good local place to visit for some casual dining

Excellent dinner! I guessed as we parked that the food might be good because there was some serious engineering around the kitchen—always good when a restaurant invests in the kitchen as well as the dining area. The service was very efficient (we were finished within an hour because we had no room for desserts). The dining area was a nice space, with bold colours and gentle music. Everything seemed clean. Our food was delicious. I chose one of the vegetarian options, and it was very tasty. I stole a sneaky forkful of Husband’s pork belly pie, and that was good too. My only regret was that we were too full for pudding. Maybe next time.

Arrived early than our booking time, was Not a problem and was seated, quickly served with drinks, starter served within 15mins, we both had the the most beautiful blade of Beef i have ever tasted. good size portions, all well cooked and to our liking. Too full to indulge in a pudding. Very clean establishment with clean washroom facilities. Thank you for a memorable meal.

Absolute gem of a place. Incredibly friendly and efficient staff. Delicious food (standouts for us were hake which was perfectly seasoned with a lovely acidity to balance the creamy bean puree, and sticky toffee pudding served in a veritable bath of sauce). Great selection of local beers. Very accommodating of our rather messy baby in a highchair.
