Encore in Highland

My mom, stepdad, and I went to this place first on our 12 day cruise. The service was great and the beer was good. Fish and Chips were fresh and good. Michael was also a wonderful waiter and a good person. Even when he apologized for his mistake in our order, we were just happy with our order anyways. Great place to have a drink and eat fish and chips.

Fantastic dinner here!!! The chili and coconut sauce for the mussels was great! I am very picky with mussels and chose to follow my waiters advice and go for the nontraditional version- worth it!! I also got the goat cheese appetizer with the onion chutney- also delicious! The old fashioned I ordered was a little crowded in the glass but tasted great.Overall, I was very happy with my dinner (both dishes I ordered were appetizers and were filling enough for dinner for 1) and I think I will come back here again before I leave Inverness.

Cannot recommend this place enough, the personable and cute bar manager/mixologist (Nick?) guaranteed that I would like my drink, and I’ve never had a stranger be correct about that before but he was right! The food was also fantastic, cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing drinks, great food and fantastic service!

We just ate there tonight. The highland chicken was great. The sauce was fantastic and the presentation was lovely.The steak pie was good. The vegetables were perfectly grilled and a really nice varietyI almost took pictures now I am sorry I did not

Excellent service, great simple pub food. Shame the pudding was a let down, tasted old. The cheesecake also tasted like Tescos but it was certainly edible.Would definitely vist again

Restaurant was a little busy and we had a large party, but the staff sat us and got our orders in quickly. There was an issue with the ordering and they got it all sorted quick, rolled on!Hats off the the kitchen, front of house and all the staff!Great evening and lovely food!

Great bar, lots of drinks on offer, food was great but limited menu choice. Enjoyed what we ate, would be even better with a expanded menu and dessert menu. Classy spot near the river, we don’t smoke but the smokers area was great.

We went to the restaurant yesterday. The nice guy at the bar recommended us some Scottish beers, that was so cool because we come from Germany. The food was really good and the service was really nice! If we come back to Inverness, we come back to the encore!!

Great service, delicious local food, nice selection of beer and whiskey, cocktails are good as well.

Fantastic bar with excellent food and a great range of beers, whiskies and gins. The smoking area to enjoy a fine cigar is, in my opinion, the best in Inverness. Friendly staff always offer a warm welcome.
