Came here on vacation with my family. The food was amazing the deserts were amazing. The hospitality was amazing.Funny story when we asked for a table they said yes but we would have to be done within an hour. But I thought she said for us to be back in an hour.We walked out and made it a ways down the street the owner came running to tell us are table was now. So awesome!

My partner recently dined here and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, i cant remember hus name but the chap who was looking after us all night was first class, friendly and professional. The food was amazing, we both had the chicken pate which was delicious and arrived really quickly, we also both had the steaks, both were cooked to perfection and I had the hazelnut cheesecake for desert. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing staff, really friendly and attentive. Great menu with local cheeses and great local beer selection. The salmon is highly rated! Cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Best food in inverness.Fantastic meal, great service, lovely cosy atmosphere - definitely go here!Haggis croquettes and Salmon were both fantastic, as well as the feta salad and the vegetarian pasta dish.It is also nice that they had alternative "parmesan" to cater for vegans.

Excellent food and service and some great local ales. Highly recommend this restaurant which thoroughly deserves it high ranking on Google reviews. You will need to pre book a table.

Booked in early on a Saturday evening. Covid-19 protocol in place and a very cordial welcome. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful and engaged in conversation. As a vegetarian the menu was limited, but that is what we come to expect. Nonetheless the food was outstanding, and the was also an excellent choice of wines. When leaving the staff were as engagand delightful as they were when we went in. Best dining out experience I have had in a long time. Superb!

Food and service is outstanding here. Must try. Bistro is situated on a little bank in the city centre. Went for the King Prawns to start, served with garlic and Paprika. Rib eye steak for mains cooked medium rare with chunky skin on chips and peppercorn sauce. Finally for dessert had date and ginger cake with butterscotch sauce and ice cream. Beautiful fresh cooked food.

Had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend last weekend here. We had a reservation, but were really hungry and luckily we were able to be seated much earlier.The restaurant is much bigger than it looks on the outside, and has a very nice cozy ambiance. We ordered the goat cheese tartlet and chicken liver pate as starters, both fantastic, though I prefer the goat cheese. We got salmon and the haggis/venison burger as mains. The burger was really good, very juicy! Finally, we shared a pannacotta for dessert, which was a really nice finish to the meal.Really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back.

Lovely place to dine! The staff are excellent - perfect service, and the food !! Beautifully prepared from masterfully selected ingredients. Everything was so fresh, bright, succulent and balanced. I had Orkney salmon in Orkney (where it was overdone) then had the Orkney salmon here - it was utter perfection. The coffee was amount the best I've had in the UK. It's clean, comfortable and contemporary. Great wine selection too. Would go back!
