Gabbro Bar, Broadford Hotel in Highland

Can't fault the hotel food was amazing.Massive portions at dinner struggled to finish it.Staff were excellent nothing to much trouble.Rooms were great nice touch having bottled water in them and were replaced each day.We will definitely be going back.

Amazing hotel! Great breakfast and lovely staff even when we arrived very late at night due to ferry being cancelled earlier that day! Will definitely visit again! Great view for breakfast too!

Had such an amazing overnight stay here, the staff were so welcoming and we had the loveliest evening meal too. We were updraded to a superior double which was perfect. Would highly recommend

Had one night here in room 9 - brilliant twin room with a virtually separate lounge area (L shaped). Very clean, warm, fully stocked large bathroom etc. Free and very reliable WiFi. Restaurant excellent and the staff were quite superb - a special mention to the delightful and very helpful Beata. It's a perfect location for a first night in Skye, and excellent value. I was impressed.

This is by far the most pleasant and luxurious hotels I have ever experienced the staff are so friendly the rooms are clean and luxurious and also the food is fantastic!

We were really surprised about the excellent service, hygiene, food and the hospitality. The hotel is very cozy. The manager Michelle, was amazing she nicely welcomed my whole family and we will definitely come back! Also the hotel is pet friendly which is amazing.

I'm sure the hotel is a lovely place to stay, it looked nice. And I'm sure the food is lovely too. However why still advertise on your website that you do lunches between 12-2pm when actually you don't? We can understand why establishments don't as there isn't the demand in the winter. But it's quite annoying when you alter your plans to support businesses on the island and we missed out on having a nice lunch. We live in Dunvegan and was heading to the south of the island to the gin and whisky shop. We was initially going to head to Oban for the rest of the day and to have lunch. But we then thought why not go to the shop a little later and support an island business and go for lunch to the Broadford Hotel. You can imagine our disappointment when we went inside to be told they aren't doing lunches when only the day before we was viewing the lunch menu online which indicated the service time. We'll know in future just to carry on off the island and go for lunch elsewhere.

We had a party of 12 in for a family dinner. The service and quality of food was superb and very good value given the quality. Staff were all wearing masks and adhering to Covid protocols, there was lots of space around the tables, rest rooms were very clean and tidy. An all round excellent experience.We will definitely return when we are next in Skye.

Didn’t stay here, just had dinner. Still giving it 5 stars. Because it was one of the best meals we’ve had in all of Scotland so far. The steak pie and wait staff were impeccable, truly top notch. With Covid and the employment issues plaguing the country, (everything is either shut or needs to be reserved days/weeks in advance) this place was a godsend.
