Garden Restaurant at the Grant Arms Hotel in Highland

Lovely old hotel. Well placed for the Highlands. Food very good. Interesting wildlife club and guides on offer to residents.

I would have rated it 5 if decaffeinated filter coffee was on offer instead of instant and a lighter desert was on offer. Our room was really comfortable and clean, and all the staff provided an excellent friendly service.

As always, we have had an excellent stay at the Grant Arms. The staff are most accommodating, pleasant and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and we are looking forward to coming back again next year. Anthea and Alec Dodd

Didn't have the pleasure of staying as a guest, but the friendly staff did let us take shelter in the bar (which was closed ahead of a function in a few hours time) with our shivering greyhound when we got caught in a storm and our car was being repaired down the road. Also offered us warm drinks on the house. Very considerate staff.

Enjoying another break here. Clean hotel observing Covid guidelines. Bedroom adequate with decent toiletries. Meals (breakfast and dinner) excellent. Staff professional and friendly.

Excellent hotel with staff that could not do enough to help. Dog friendly as well. Lovely location for walking locally and ideal for visiting the surrounding area. Everyday the menu in the restaurant was changed. The food was always presented wonderfully and of high quality. The staff always made time for us and our dog. Would recommend.

Top class accomodation and food and great for bird photographers as they have a variety of events and workshops lectures and films and daily adventures to best photography spots nearby. Some go every year

Lovely traditional hotel, very comfortable with great staff. The restaurant is very well organised and run, in terms of Covid, and the food is delicious. Good choices at breakfast and dinner, and generous portions. Cosy bedroom, very high standard of cleanliness. Great location, and bonus of experienced wildlife guides available every day for a chat about trips and good places to go to spot birds and wildlife.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are a nice size. Beds are comfortable. Nice walk to River Spay. Hotel looks old from outside. Furnished nicely. Food is quite upmarket but can always find something. Food in restaurant is quite expensive but expected for a hotel.

We loved this hotel, the room, the staff, the food, and the town. Our room was very large, immaculately clean, and comfy. An amazing array of freshly prepared, real food was available for breakfast. The staff were very professional and helpful. Shops are nearby and pretty views of the countryside a few minutes walk away.
