Gille Brighde in Highland

We had a gorgeous meal here! Aart welcomed my family and two dogs and served us the most beautiful fresh seafood. Enjoy the journey there and enjoy the food, drink, and peace in Diabaig!

Wonderful little gem of a restaurant hidden away at the end of "the road". Cosy decor, amazing fresh food and lovely owner (Amanda) will offer you a glimpse of Scottish food at its finest yet nothing pretentious. Felt privileged to have had a lovely moment there eating delicious food. Thank you for the memory, hopefully we'll be back one day!

One of the best restaurant locations in the Highlands at the end of a stunning road and with some of the best food. Combine all that with friendly service and you have a winner, on all fronts.

Had a great meal, venison paired with a nice red. We had a great chat with the owners, lovely couple. It’s well worth a drive out here, but beware of the deer in the dark! Closed over winter. Dessert was great too….being remote doesn’t mean they are cut off from what a good meal is.

I only stopped for a drink but it looks like a great place to eat as well. The location is fantastic. You can have a great walk during the day and visit the restaurant before going home.

It's well worth the spectacular drive to reach this brilliant little restaurant. Booking is essential as, despite its remoteness, it is very popular. Aart and Angela work hard to produce excellent food. The Sunday lunch (set menu) is a real treat. Vegans and vegetarians are catered for too and they will do their best to accommodate other dietary requirements. There is a small but excellent wine list and a selection of local beers ciders and soft drinks.

What a fabulous restaurant, well worth the drive to get there. Friendly staff, good service and an imaginative menu. Food was delicious I especially enjoyed the haggis filo parcels I had for starters.

We visited for an evening meal - booked ahead as they are busy in the evenings and don't always have space for walk-ins. Food was fabulous, atmosphere was friendly and warm, and not crowded (possibly due to COVID restrictions). Took dessert to go as we were nicely full, and it was also delicious. Would highly recommend.

Oh gosh, this place is amazing!! You will find it a hidden gem... although the road is long & takes care to drive... booking ahead is essential!! Food so good that if I died tomorrow, I'd go happy!

Hidden gem of a restaurant in an amazing setting. We were recommended this place by the lovely staff at the Torridon Gallery and thought we would give it a try. The beautiful, scenic route is typical of the Wester Ross region.The restaurant is unassuming but the food and hospitality one receives here is top class. For starters, we'd ordered a seafood platter that was fresh, well presented and tasty. The main course was fish and chips that was well made and tasted good.The hosts are charming and amiable. During our late lunch we'd a great conversation with them. When the card machine was playing up due to poor internet connectivity they offered us to have the lunch and that they could try running the payment later in the day. It was such a lovely and kind gesture that we appreciated very much.
