The dining car was a welcome relief from a walk up the hill to the station with time to kill until thr train arrived. Really friendly and welcoming staff, we were going out to dinner later so only had coffee and cake both of which were excellent. Great views of the Glenn from our seatsA new leasehold, they are focusing on local produce and responsible waste management. On my next visit I will try the pulled pork

Revamped with NEW OWNERS! Glenfinnan Dining Car is a quirky place with good healthy, sustainable local produce. Sit in or outside and with takeaway option too, you can enjoy Glenfinnan in all its magnificent beauty with tasty treats from the Dining Car. You don't want to miss this lovely little place in the Scottish Highlands, it's just that good ❤️

Great lunch & lots of history to see at the station ! A must while you wait for the steam train at the viaduct

The Glenfinnan Dining Car is a cute little cafe at the train stop in Glenfinnan near the viaduct. Right next to it begins the hiking trail to the Viaduct, very convenient. The ambience is really nice and throws you back in time. The staff is very friendly. The coffee was very good, as were the pieces of cake, which unfortunately turned out a little small.Definitely recommended.See ya,Ludwig

I would give 10 stars if it was possible! The food is wonderful 😍 probably the best sandwich I have ever eaten ! I would travel all the way back to Glenfinnan just to re-live those precious moments of trekking uphill to enjoy the Viaduct and Loch viewpoints and to eat in this cosy dining car !

Good food options available and it's around 10-15 minutes walk from Glenfinnan Viaduct. One can come via road or take a trail to Glenfinnan station from viaduct. Personally road is good as one can see small cathedral on the way with mesmerising views.

Great wee 'old fashioned train carriage' diner for drinks, snacks and lunches at Glenfinnan Station. See attached menu for summer 2019. We got two hot chocolates for £7. If you visit the museum for a donation get a ticket and claim 10% off your bill!

The Glenfinnan Dining Car is a lovely little place to grab a spot of lunch in a great setting. Located in a retired train carriage, the atmosphere is cosy and quaint, with attentive friendly staff ensuring you’re looked after well. The ‘Meal deal’ featuring the soup of the day and a toastie/sandwich is particularly good and the cakes looked delicious too. They also offer you a free ticket to look around the museum which whilst small, makes for an interesting addition.

Peculiar experience, and good foodThe characteristic location itself is worth the experience: an authentic old railway carriage! Very pleasant, comfortable, and with a (clean) toilet. We only had a soup, but it was really good, and the service was quick and friendly at the same time. Moreover, we were given free entry to the museum, a plus service.Price per value: fair.

The perfect place to grab soup and a sandwich after hiking the trail up from the bridge. Adorable converted train car .Service was friendly and food was excellent! I had the special of the day- black pudding toastie and ham broth... delicious!!
