Harry Gow Bakery - Brora in Highland

Lovely stop, friendly staff and tasty pastries

My hubby and I stop here quite regularly to grab some sandwiches and drinks for our trips south. We already love Harry Gow for their food, but the service in the Brora shop is always lovely and friendly. My only downside would be that, dependings on what time you visit, the stock never sticks around for long. Although it is probably a major waste-saver, it can be disheartening when you pass at 2pm and there's barely anything left.

Excellent baker. Brown rolls - filled or otherwise - are the best I've ever had anywhere!

Excellent food & great coffee ! We stopped off here on the way back down from John O Groats and sampled the curry pie - delicious.

One thing that inspires me to hike to Brora is a hot Harry Gow Sausage Roll. Beautiful baked goods using local ingredients. A must visit if you are passing through.

The tastiest baker in Scotland, no Greggs multi made at the factory rubbish here, proper handmade and fresh, thank goodness none of these in Glasgow I would be on a constant diet, think we have stoppws at evwe one, best part of th Northwest 500 need to put all these shops on the route as good parking, cakes and coffee.

Fantastic ice-cream, great pies and pastries and friendly and welcoming staff. A regular stop off on the road up, perfect pit stop for the NC500!
