Hectors Bothy in Highland

We had fish & chips today, salad and homemade coleslaw was lovely but the chips were dry, hard and cold, tasted like they were pre-cooked then reheated. The fish was ok, just. Complained at the time, but fell on death ears. Won’t be back.

Had sandwiches during a stopover between journey to Isle of skye.Their sandwiches are good and delicious.Great coffee too.Good to plan your stopover here, just a short distance from the petrol station.Toilet is cleaner and free if you dine in.

Great food at affordable prices. Lovely staff with a friendly atmosphere. Can be difficult to get in at times, but what do you expect for such a great place.

Very nice home cooked food . The staff are attentive , polite and quick . The breakfasts are extremely good but my fav is the porridge as the cook makes it from scratch with milk , instead of one of those instant pot things . The fish and chips is also 10/10 .

Very nice fish and chips 🙌and skye ale. Also nice that it was open so late in the season when everything else was closed.

Excellent value, very tasty and very welcoming staff. Portion was large and extremely tasty, especially considering how cheap this place is. Had a seat by the window so beautiful views of the mountains across the water. Superb little place!

A very nice place, well kept and with excellent facilities. Stayed a few nights and I managed to rest well and enjoy great views through the window. An excellent place to stay if you're looking to see Skye. Portree is about 1h away.

Cakes look amazing and coffee is good.One of the only places that have been opened and a little bit gutted now that we did not looked around further and checked for somewhere else.If we wouldn't have checked the burgers would have came without the top bun.Took it back in th kitchen and came out like this. Cheesburgers, no salad, no sauce, no salt, no vinegar.A little overpriced for that.

Stunning scenic views ⛰🌊 from the cafe, the coffee tastes fresh and smooth; the flat white was the perfect temperature 🔥☕ The BLT was the perfect filler and the bread had a nice crunch to it

Wonderful service and delicious food. Had the most juicy chicken mayo sandwich ever....
