Fantastic Sunday lunch. Great portion size, roast beef amazing. Even veg good.

Came for coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. Nice food. The haggis sausage roll was incredible! It was quite cold inside. We also bought a bottle of gin from their sister distillery which is fabulous!

This is our second time staying at The Park. The Sunday lunch-beef for 2 was absolutely superb. Lovely surprise on arrival when we found our room had been upgraded. The most amazing view from our bedroom window. We will definitely be returning again.

Comfortable seating in a pleasant and COVID safe environment. Electric car charging available in carpark at 15p/kWh. Good selection of cakes and scones in the Bakery, including dairy free options.

Overpriced wine menu, and website menu is not reflective of what the dinner menu actually is. Thought the Manager had a "could not care less attitude" when I complained about the price of the wine, my fault I should have asked to see the wine menu before ordering a glass. I usually have lunch there every week, but will never go back.

Ordered from the bar menu. Large portions which sounds great but can be a bit overwhelming when you are trying to eat your way through it. I had the salmon starter. Salmon was nice but the crisp bread accompaniment was like chewing your way through sandpaper. Rissoto starter was plentiful and tasty. Duck starter also good. Steaks large and plenty sides. Turkey from the Xmas menu was okay. Staff were very good. Welcoming and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

An enjoyable stay overall. Friendly welcome on check in. The room was clean. The bathroom had been recently renovated. Breakfast was good and a few different choices available. We were able to park in the adjoining car park without issue. One small issue was we could hear the kitchen door repeatedly banging below our room but it was somewhat faint and did not interfere with our sleeping. We would stay again.

Tryst tasting menu was an amazing experience - we tried a lot of combinations we would never have thought of and the wine selections were spot on. The whole experience was excellently presented by Rebecca, and the chef Ryan Hogg came out at the end to present some chocolates which was a lovely touch. Our stay was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely with spectacular views over the hills and we were looked after well by Pete. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Booked this trip last minute and thought the deal of £100 per head for an overnight stay including breakfast and a five course tasting menu with paired wines sounded too good to be true. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that wasn’t the case. The food was excellent- beautifully cooked and presented. This included a pre dinner cocktail and coffee and chocolates afterwards. We were actually the only people dining in The Tryst that night which could have felt a bit awkward but our waiter Pete was great - very chatty and friendly- and it felt like a lovely private dining experience. Ryan the chef also came to talk to us after we had eaten and gave us some information about the produce etc. We felt like VIPs. Breakfast was excellent too and the room was lovely- a good size, freshly decorated and spotlessly clean. We managed to find time to visit The Hydro and use the pool and facilities there which was at no additional cost. Just a lovely experience and we hope to be back.

Had a good coffee and a good cake. If I'm being picky was slightly cold in the place but apart from that it was great. The matcha green tea cake is to die for!
