We visited Jackos Bar in 2019. Very cozy. Hospitality is great. Fish and chips and burgers are delicious. I´m looking forward to be there again one day...

Quiet night but seemed a cracking wee place. Food was delicious!

I went here today first time it was 35 pound for fish and chips and a buger and onion rings and did not expect it to be so nasty onion rings were full of grease burger had nasty burnt hard bacon on it and there tap coke was completly flat never again waste of money not happy think i should stick to macdonalds

Great bar, friendly staff and great food we all cleared our plates and loved it because they served mint choc chip ice-cream with dessert as an option over vanilla

Cajun chicken pasta with garlic bread for me and margarita pizza and chips for Billy. Fantastic thanks. Dog friendly pub great staff. And of course Tenants lager

Came for fajita night. Was absolutely amazing, chicken was tender with nice selection of veg and sides. Served on the sizzler plates too! Chips weren't needed but nice to have. We need to be supporting our locals restaurants more during these times! £9.95 for a massive main course. We had two drinks, three courses was £35. Highly recommend going.

Returning here for food for the second year. Went for a family meal, 6 of us, absolutly great! Just happened to be steak night too, bonus! So the daily specials board was wasted on us. 3 sirloins cooked to how we preferred at a generous £9.99 each. I have to say, the peppercorn sauce was one of the best I have ever had. The Mrs had fish and chips which looked just as good as the steak. The children had the Kids Chicken Nuggets with chips and the opted for beans. We all cleared the lot, even the children, and they can be particularly fussy with food, but their plates too were clean. Most opted for Hot Fudge Cake for dessert, I had vanilla ice cream and cream, yummy. One of us had apple pie and custard. Again clean plates! A lovely meal and we would definitely return. I do believe they are in the process of having a menu update, even more reason to return. All in all, 6 very good meals and desserts with no faults. Staff were very pleasant and the waiting time next to none. Thank you :)
