Awesome fish and chips smoked sausage and surf and turf ample portion in all well worth a visit

Drove quite a distance to try the fish and chips which came highly recommended by my sister. We collected at 5.30pm and drove to a nice picnic spot some distance from the shop. The single fish was small, dry, hard dark batter, and in my opinion was a re-heat!!!!! I know my fresh fish too given I live and breath it in the Highlands. My husband had the fish supper and his fish was bigger but dry and chewy the same as mine. The chips were a small portion, and lots of small crunchy crispy bits and less whole chips. If I wasn't so far away, I would have returned this. At £15.20p for this I feel because we were one of the first to be served, it was reheated. My first visit and my last.!!!!!

It was our 1st stay at Muir of Ord & we popped it for a takeaway to Jaki fish & chips. There was so much choice but went for the white pudding supper & wasn't disappointed 😋. Probably the best I have ever had. Highly recommended! & staff friendly.

30 minute wait last night thought would of been worth it as heard meant to be a amazing. Never had over cooked fish so bad in my life was like chewing on a sweet or a bit of beef jerky so so burnt. White pudding,was so burnt soon i took a bite was like lava 🌋 burnt all my mouth. Chips were OK a bit dry curry sauce was only good part £21 down on worst chippy and to have to wait 30 mins is shocking for food like that would not even feed that to a seagull it would choke the poor bird. Absolutely shocking £21 down on food and £20 down on fule will never ever be back il be telling friends and family about the service too... And reply I just got from the owner is disgusting calling a key board warrior for complaining of the food.. Shouldn't have the business if you can't run a tight ship stop blaming other blaming other people for your food as you yourself said you monitor it that's not case I still waited so long for my order and the white pudding itself was burnt to a crisp I think it's disgusting the way I've been spoken to all for being upset about my order and giving my opinion every customer who pays good earned money has the right to voice there opinions I had good intentions to go here as heard good things but people can not blame the customer for there mistakes end of...

We went here a few months ago and ordered a chippy.I put a review on saying chips was cold.Went back to try it again on the 1st May 2022.I had Fish and Chips and it was all freshly made and very tasty.Highly recommend going here for a Takeaway.Best chippy I have been to as the ones in Inverness aren't the best

Well !!! what can I say about the fish and chips I had last night other than it was awful !!! I wish I had taken photos of it, it was wafer thin and dry, very over cooked !! To be honest I have never had such a thin fish, I thought I was chewing on a bit of leather, as for the chips I think I got the scraps from The bottom of fryer, most were tiny crispy bits with a couple of big ones thrown in, the curry sauce was nice though ......

Amazing food and amazing freedom fighter owner. Glad she is speaking the truth for all to see! Will be recommending to everyone I come across! She even gave some vouchers for our guests!tolles Essen und Servicenourriture et service incroyables

Called in here after hearing their advertising campaign on the radio.Great food priced competitively which came from an immaculately clean premises.Jackie the owner came out while we were waiting and had a chat. Lovely lady who gave the kids some freebies, well deserving of 5 stars.

Fabulous, just fabulous! I asked for 2 x Jumbo haddock & small chips and it was well worth the wait whilst the fish was perfectly cooked. It had firm, pure white skinless flakes that tasted deliciously sweet, all encased in non-greasy superb batter. The chips were excellent too, again non-greasy. It all went down a treat back at our holiday cottage a few miles away. The staff were very pleasant too. Well done all.

THE best chippy I’ve ever had!! It was so fresh, beautiful soft fish with a crispy batter, lovely tasty chips, kids had sausages & they really loved them. We also had a white pudding which was to die for! And tasty homemade coleslaw, it was all SO good and the staff were so lovely, friendly & helpful. Highly recommended.
