Arrived early for dinner, made very welcome nothing a problem, most attentive Maitre D. Had superb view of the loch and food was so fresh and tasty. Well worth a visit, very popular and i can see why.

Dog friendly. Bit tired/worn in places but generally good. Would recommend the linguine dish or steak.

Lovely little restaraunt which we came across in our hunt for food. Being the off season, most places were closed but staff here were more than happy to have us and were a good laugh throughout. We had the best seat in the house, looking out onto the loch.Neither of us are huge fish eaters but the lobster mac & cheese and salmon pasta were extremely nice. Finished off with a hot toddy. It was nice enough that we returned a few days later for a couple of cocktails (properly done & very nice)

Very cosy atmosphere right by the jetty with a bit of a scandi vibe. Lovely view over the sea Lochend and mountains. Excellent range of seafood, and other meat and veggie options too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again when in the neighbourhood.

I love the setting and very helpful relaxed staff. The dinner menu is limited, although excellent quality.

We stopped for lunch at Kylesku Hotel during our road trip around Scotland in September-October 2021. This hotel is just off the west coast portion of the NC500 route, and it makes for an easy lunch stop.We did not book, and were shown to a table without delay. There are great views of the Kylesku Bridge and the loch. There was a great choice of food, and I loved the local beers flight (shown in my photograph). The loch was used for testing and launching X-Class mini submarines during WW2 (the ones that attacked Tirpitz), and there is an interesting display (see my photo) to read on the restaurant wall.

We absolutely loved the food here. We ate at 3 different Michelin star restaurants within 2 weeks (one in Scotland, two in Ireland) and this one was by far my favourite. The Kylesku also has comparatively very reasonable prices. We had oysters, scallops (too delicious to remember to take a picture of lol), the special (cod with linguine and mussels), lemon posset, and lemon soufflé. There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy. This is by far one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to, but the desserts were next level good as well! If we had to push ourselves for a single criticism it would be that the sauce on the linguine seemed a little too thin. Other than that everything was exquisite. To drink we had a few Moonlit Loch cocktails - some sort of creamy drink with a hint of cherry and coffee I believe, and nutmeg on top. We both adored them. And lastly, the service. Everyone was lovely and we never wanted for anything. We appreciated feeling taken care of without constantly being interrupted. The maître d’(?) Is clearly an expertIn his work. Please make sure you visit if you are driving the North Coast 500. They were fine with our casual hiking clothes (so don’t worry), and we couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more!

Booked online for lunch which was very easy. All of the staff were very friendly asking us about our journey and what we were up to. The food was delicious we had crab bisque for starters which was rich and flavourful. My husband had the whole crab which you could taste the freshness. I had the burger which was very tasty without being too heavy. I would come here again any time. Even the dreich weather couldn't ruin this lovely meal.
