Passed many times over the year's, popped in for a family lunch and the service was fantastic. Food was excellent and very welcoming. Definitely call again

One star only because of our table views.I'm a chef and also have experience of how to make and serve Pizza,It was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life and also the worst service. The sauce was flavourless the cheese was plastic and the base was dry.Waitresses are out of the idea of how to serve customers. Please make sure you arrange training for your staff. Not recommended at all.

Takeaway - Save your money and go elsewhere! Over priced, small portions, poor quality, bland, not recommended!!Staying in the campsite and ordered a takeaway.Ordering online was easy - that’s what the star is for.2 x portions of Garlic Mushrooms and a Boscaiola Pizza with extra Olives and Chicken.Mushrooms were £11:40 for the 2 portions in small containers and then only 1/3rd full!!Bland and watery - really!!Pizza was £15 and awful!!Again bland, base very thin and didn’t look like fresh dough made onsite. Tomato base was there in colour only. Toppings didn’t taste fresh and Pizza was warm and not hot.Come on!!! How can an Italian Restaurant get making Pizzas so badly wrong and not cook decent tasty mushrooms!!Will not be ordering again.

The food was very nice, but we were charged an extra £10 for choosing the vegan pizza. It’s marked as a set price on the menu, listing all of the available toppings, but when receiving the bill, we noticed we’d been charged an extra £1 each for 10 toppings across two pizzas (this wasn’t explained on the menu - it just says choice of topping with no mention of additional charge). All other pizzas which already had some of these toppings on were the same price or cheaper. Pretty cheeky, especially when the kitchen wasn’t very generous with their toppings.

Conveniently located next to our accommodation. Staff were very nice and offered a pasta dish that wasn't on the menu and it was delicious. They also do takeaways so on our last night in aviemore we got ourselves a takeaway pizza too.

Friendly staff and authentic surroundings. Open Thursday through to Sunday.Needed masks and check in to enter. We had booked at table and shown straight in. Needed a QR scanner to see menu. Good choice and portions were generous. Food was hot and so tasty. We really enjoyed it. Just sorry we were too full for a desert!! Would definately recommend

Have been coming up to Aviemore for years but for some reason we have never eaten here...What a mistake that was on our part. The menu isn't big,but that doesn't stop the food from being tasty,of which it was.My dad is a great lover of a Calzone but has never had one quite like this before. He likes spice and they were only too happy to add some jalapeños for him.I on the other hand tried the gaelic pizza, but I don't like haggis,so they again were happy to change the toppings. The place itself was rustic and the staff were very friendly and helpful.Service was excellent. We had a great night.

Best pizza ever, cater for gluten free and the service is top drawer, very friendly and attentive staff.

·

Good food choices, friendly and efficient service, and not expensive. We have eaten lunch twice this summer at La Taverna and really appreciated staff finding a table for us despite not having booked and the restaurant being very busy. I love that they have kept the traditional Scottish Italian style, checked tablecloths etc. Highly recommended.

Ordered spaghetti take away. Did not receive spaghetti, see pic. It didn't taste good either. Put it all in the bin. Very disappointed. £9 for that was overpriced. Had to order a portion of chips for £2 to make the minimum card spend limit of £10 too. Was turned away on Monday night when we arrived in the area. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Ordered online after waiting the 2 more days. Not welcoming at all. Don't get your hopes up. Go somewhere else to avoid the disappointment all round.
