Loch Ness Clansman Hotel in Highland

Friendly staff and fantastic views of the loch from their restaurant. We had a lovely time and throughly enjoyed our dinner. The nessie steak pie was the best pie I've ever had, so tender, so tasty. Lovely gift shop downstairs and it's all in all a welcome respite if you're up there exploring. 100% recommend

Great view and location. The boat takes off right outside if you want to join a tour around the Loch Ness. URQUHART CASTLE is the one of most beautiful places in the Scottish Highlands. The hotel is very cozy. Very clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. The shop is also really nice. The restaurant is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic! Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a wonderful Anniversary meal . The evening started by the courtesy car collecting us, organised by the hotel. Then gorgeous food. The steak was divine and seafood excellent . All followed of with the cheese board, one with Port & one with Whisky . The staff were really nice and didn't rush you and then the courtesy car home. This was certainly one of the hi lights of our holiday.

Lovely place, calm and peaceful environment. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food wonderful. We had a loch view room, stunning view. Only disappointment, decor a bit dated in the rooms. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were incredible! Shout out to Adam and the young lady with the bright orange hair - absolute stellar hospitality. There were others whose names I didn’t catch but the experience as a whole was made so much better just from the hospitality. My room was spacious and clean and all my specifications and special requirements catered to. 100% recommend and will definitely be back. The views were also incredible.

We moored at Urquhart Bay Harbour and booked a table at the Clansman restaurant.Firstly, let me say that trying to get a taxi was horrendous so we called to cancel our table, only to be rescued by the hotel, who sent Essex Neil in a grey Mercedes rather than a white charger. Full of banter and chatter our driver for the evening was more than happy to have picked us up and all we had to do was call him before 11 so he could take us back to our boat. What a Legend!!Secondly. Decadence doesn't even describe the food, rich indulgent and the best food I have eaten for a long time, I'm sure I was in heaven. When I asked for some information about the deserts, the chef kindly wrote the recipe out for me!!Thirdly short and sweet.... What a view!!What an amazing experience. Thank you for a fantastic holiday memory and if we every get the opportunity we will be back!!!

One of our favourite gift shops when visiting the area. It's had a refit this year & looks amazing! Lots more beautiful gifts to buy and an excellent selection of whisky. The cafe/restraunt upstairs has also had a refit and is good value for money as well as having stunning views over Loch Ness

Fantastic hotel. If you're thinking of visiting Loch Ness I highly recommend this hotel as your base. The boat takes off right outside if you wanted a tour of the Loch and they have a gift shop onsite. The restaurant and rooms have amazing views overlooking the Loch and if you have a love of whiskey, this is the hotel for you. Their selection is unrivaled but more so, the manager Adam is an expert who can find the best match to your pallette. A true gentleman and a great judge of whiskey

Nice clean shop, we didn't stay at the hotel we were just visiting. The shop has changed since we visited last year but is still definitely worth a visit. Lots of nice things and nick nacks, although some were a bit over priced for my liking. They used to have a little coffee shop there, which has sadly been taken out for more shop space.

Fantastic location. 15-20 minutes ride from Inverness. Great view and very clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Amazing kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay, dinner was amazing and breakfast was perfect.
