Tried to get a room somewhere in skye but everything full and very expensive so right over the bridge is this gem of a place. Had a super meal. Great staff, very comfortable bed... I cant recommend this place enough But be aware, the place is a little dated. For me that just added to the great highland experiance.

Loved every moment of our stay here. Room right on the water with two armchairs to enjoy the view. Evelynn was very welcoming and informative about the local area. We ate in the restaurant both dinner and breakfast. We were very impressed with the chicken stuffed with haggis, homemade tomato soup, creamy garlic mushrooms and even made room to have dessert! Delicious sticky toffee pudding and lemon cheesecake. Best meal of our holiday around Scotland!

Great location and fantastic views. Spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast, served by our friendly and efficient waitress. We arrived very late in the evening but staff made us welcome.

Stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 dogs. Room was slightly dated but spacious and a good sized bathroom, plenty of storage. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but it looked good. We had dinner one night and it was tasty. Would stay again.

I organised a bikers weekend for 13 bikers including wife's, we arrived in cold wet weather and evelyn the owner had left cakes and biscuits in all our rooms to perk us up, all the rooms were clean, warm and very comfortable just what we needed, the meal we had in the evening was great and plenty of it.

A lovely family run hotel that succeeds in getting the little things right. From the fresh cupcakes in the room upon arrival and a friendly welcome and a beautiful breakfast included in the room price. The owner was so friendly and attentive and made it an enjoyable stay. Great sized rooms with a comfortable large bed. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here to finish our NC500 trip. The owners are absolutely fabulous and cannot do enough for you. Always service with a smile and up for a chat. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.Breakfast was included in the room price which was unexpected, but excellent.Would absolutely love to stay here again. Lovely, family owned hotel!

A beautifully old fashioned hotel with some lovely old fashioned features and decor! Gorgeous big old bath with chunky silver taps and big chunky radiator nearby! The hosts were delightful and could not have been more helpful, even buying some cupcakes and supplying wine and flowers in the room as it was my birthday! The food in the evening was delicious and breakfast didn't disappoint us either! If you are looking for a stay in a modern faceless chain of hotels that looks the same in every city, then this hotel isn't for you. But if are looking for character, charm, great service and a hark back to yesteryear then this place is perfect! We can't wait to visit again!

Staff were super friendly and helpful! Pet friendly and last minute availability, which was great because we drove until we found a place.Rooms, entire hotel really, are dated and need a cosmetic update for sure. Rooms agree cozy, with amazing views and they are quite spacious. Everything seemed clean enough despite the aging of the place. Hot water in the shower was not an option....It's sad to see a piece of history falter. Were two of only a handful of guests, so it was quiet and peaceful. Would recommend if you want to feel rested.
