Lorimers Family Restaurant in Highland

I ordered the jumbo haddock, as you can see from the photo it certainly lived up to its name! Brilliant quality and cooked to perfection 👏🏻

Friendly helpful and attentive staff. Beef burger and chicken burgers were excellent. Lost one star for defrosted and therefore soggy fruit on the dessert. Still recommend a visit though. Large menu to choose from, there will be something for everyone. We will be back.

Usually a good meal, not this time.Sunday afternoon, only maybe 1/2 the tables occupied so not too busy.Food came fast but it was covered in grease. Big pool of grease on plates. below fish/king rib.Oil tasted like it had gone rancid.

Lovely food made as we waited, fresh! Tasty chips and loved the toastie!

Food and drink good. Staff pleasant. But the food was slow coming out - only one other table occupied but still took 20/25mins for a bacon and egg roll to be served.

Had a carry out tonight. Usually excellent this time not so good. Tasted like the frying oil was needing changed. Goujons overcooked,chicken dry.

Tried to stop for lunch. It was reasonably busy with perhaps 50% of the tables occupied - with the remainder marked as reserved. Huge queue of patrons for takeaway. Looked very much understaffed. The food looked ok but I probably won't bother stopping here again.

Good food. Would recommend young lady serving at fryers put her hair in a net. Very long loose ponytail swishing about and wear her mask correctly

Following a total random 'lets ask the sat Nav' where a restaurant is, we found ourselves here.The food is wonderful, well cooked great portions and really good quality.Can't recommend them enough!!

We had the steak pie and a burger. Both delicious. Friendly welcoming staff and a car park. Highly recommended.
