MacGregor's Bar in Highland

Superb place for a beer, a Scotch and great company of Scots! Loved it, if you have a chance, stop by on a day with live music on the menu!

Lovely little place. Went in for a pint and a drink. Good local beers, even one with mango. Place is small, but quite alright when there's live music. It's okay to sit outside, still can hear the lice music playing. And I just loved the toilets! What a fun experience really 😅 hats off the the architect there man!

Always a pleasant experience. Bar area is quite small, but the advantage of a warm summer evening is the large outdoor seating area comes into its own. Good choice of ales and spirits, and the added bonus of live music. What's not to like?!

Very interesting and unique experience. Whisky tasting with music, and highly emotional Highland history. I was impressed!

Wonderful bar. The bartenders are fantastic, kind and quick. The drink are very good, with a huge variety; i would particularly recommend one of the ciders. They have live music almost every night which is superb. One of the best bars in Inverness, and in my opinion, the friendliest.

Amazing bar in beautiful Inverness. We visited twice, and also took in a whisky tasting event with Hamish MacDonald, which we highly recommend for anyone visiting. The atmosphere is festive, the food is excellent, and the staff are second to none! A special thanks goes to Jo, Bruce, Jaime, Kate, Sasha, and Ceona! Together, you transformed our visit to the Highlands into something magical. We will hold these memories close to our hearts forever, even if some of those memories are a bit dampened by whisky! From your newest friends in Canada, thank you.

There Cullen skink is incredible! Fantastic Smokey flavor and they don’t skimp on the smoked haddock. Perfect for a cold day and you don’t want to eat heavy. Almost 2 weeks later and I’m still thinking about it. I also tried sticky toffee pudding for the 1st time too. My lord, it was the perfect desert after a hearty bowl of soup =).

Such a wonderful meal. The whole seabass was so fresh and perfectly cooked with a delicious potato salad that tasted like they'd made their own mayonnaise. All the ingredients were of the highest quality, the smoked salmon was superb as well as the butternut squash soup.Really nice friendly service and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Lots of good ale's, beer, gin and wine too. Fabulous place.

Incredible steak, definitely worth paying the extra for the fillet. Superb choice of beers too - particularly enjoyed the “M’ango Unchained”. Great place!
