Monster Fish and Chip Co Limited Loch Ness in Highland

Delicious. Maybe it's the fish; maybe it's the loch. Who knows?One thing I know: coming here and eating fish and chips are so satisfying :)Sadly they don’t have an indoor seating area.Enjoy your lunch and have fun!

I love fish and chips so much. However, I didn't love the fish and chips as much today as I usually would. This is for two mains reasons. Firstly, the portion was quite small (not the fish, which was average, but the number of chips), and secondly because the chips were really, really hard. The plastic fork could not penetrate their hardened exterior at all in most cases, and I was able to use them to make a knocking sound on the table, which is not an attribute you would typically expect from a chip.

Huge parking lot adjacent, quick friendly service; enough fish&chips to share with someone you like. The fish was lite, chips were substantial.

We were looking for a quick lunch on our way to Skye. We had 2 fish and chips and a black pudding. All very tasty indeed! The fish batter was lovely and crisp and the chips were good. My son enjoyed his black pudding. A touch greasy, but it is a chippy!!

We come here every year after a local holiday and it never disappoints. The fish is brilliant and chips are also fab, nice and crisp, not greasy. Well worth a visit and a few benches dotted around up the hill (if your lucky enough for it not to be raining!).

Pretty decent fish and chips.The fish was really good. The fish cut and breading was one of the better ones I have had. I wish they had lemon for it though.The chips were just ok. We had the cheese chips which had "melted" shredded cheese but not all the way melted nor did it cover all the chips.The service was fast and the staff were VERY polite.Also the condiments are NOT free which is an automatic -1 star.It's still not a bad quick lunch near Lock Ness, but only if you're craving fish and chips or if you're in a hurry.

I am old enough to have eaten a lots of fish and chips and I have to say this is the best I’ve ever had! Fish was absolutely perfect, so fresh. Great chips with just the right amount of seasoning. Best of all, no plastic or polystyrene packaging. Amazing job. Well done team! Wish I didn’t live so far away….!

Quick, friendly service and nice clean looking establishment. Food was a good size portion and reasonable value for money. I had the Stornaway haggis supper and my partner the battered sausage supper. Both had two of the main item with a good size portion of chips. The main let down was the chips were quite tough and cardboard like. I feel like they were not quite fresh enough.Update: we returned for a second visit and not had fish suppers. This time the chips were much better and must have been freshly cooked. The guy serving was pleasant and friendly. Have updated from three to a four star review based on this experience.

The tastiest Haddock and chips I've had in a long time. Fish was white and plentiful. The batter was crispy and not greasy. Chips were fresh. I wish my local was this nice!
