Nando's in Highland

I ordered the chicken breast in a pitta with chips as a side.I know service is quick but this time it was ridiculously so, I barely had time to get my drink and cutlery before it was on the table.I soon found out why, the chips were not very hot due to the plate being stone cold, but it was the chicken that hadn’t been warmed enough on the grill. Also the chicken was not a sliced breast as advertised, it was more like random off cuts that had been trimmed from other pieces of chicken. You could see that none of the pieces matched up at all. Some of the pitta ingredients were missing too, like the radish slices and dressing!I didn’t have time to send it back, and was worried something would be done to it, so I ate it but it was hugely disappointing.Second time in a month I have visited and the Diet Coke has been flat as anything. Really poor quality, fed up of eating out and being served rubbish food!

I love me some Nandos. The staff here are friendly and the food is good. BUT their approach to allergens goes OTT and then some. If you have an allergy, you can't order at the table, you have to go stand in line for a manager to put your order through. Ok, Fine... if you're deathly allergic and keep epi pens on your person then this is brilliant. Their safety first approach is first class. However, don't expect to be eating at the same time as the rest of your table.I have an allergy and I followed their guidelines to ordering. I was warned that while every effort would be made, some grill items couldn't be guaranteed as allergen free (for me). Not sure what the point in telling them was then but, OK no problem thats not unusual. Table for 2, my friend ordered at the counter since I "had to". She got her starter within 10 mins. Fantastic. She had eaten it, had it cleared, received her main course, still no sign of my starter. (Same one my friend ordered) I asked about it, ah yes (oops) I went to the drinks station and watched them cook it. No wipe down, no nothing just fired on beside other foods including the one i was allergic to and heated. Fine, I really didn't care, I was warned but, WHY wasn't that just done to begin with since there wasn't any change to how they did it. By the time My main arrived, my friend was finished and cleared and I was genuinely ready to walk out without eating it.Maybe it was an off day. Maybe it was a new cook. Who knows. I've used this place before so can confidently say, Good food, good service, quick service (if you keep quiet about allergies). Always a busy place which I consider a benchmark for quality and efficiency. They honour military and emergency service discounts which in the current climate is almost unheard of. I will be back. But I'll say this, I won't be telling them next time that I have any allergy.If you do happen to have severe allergies, you can rest assured that you will be taken seriously.

Had to order 4 times as they didn't have the thibgs on the menu. We got our main before our starter. And was waiting 35 mins for our dessert to be told they didn't have what we wanted. Apart from that it's a lovely place and the food is lovely and fresh and the ginger ale. Is lovely ❤️

I always love to dine at Nandos. The food is fab. There was no waiting for us in this site. The staff were nice and welcoming. It could have been more clean.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful, even surprised my mother on her nineteenth birthday with a chunk of chocolate cake with a candle in it.I highly recommend paying them a visit.By the way, the food and service were superb.

Wonderful dining! Staff was very nice and helpful. The chicken was just as described and delicious. Would certainly recommend the spicy rice as a side.

Clean, love the ambiance, staff not friendly. They served my food from half way across the table. It was almost as if I wasn’t welcomed in the restaurant. Horrible experience.

Don't think the staff could care if you were there or not. It's the 1st time we (two adults + 2 kids)have been and last . Nothing was explained to us !! ie.. that we (i) have to get everything we needed knives,forks,spoons,sauces,napkins and juice by the time I had did all that my meal was COLD😤 .ALSO I had paid for the meal when I ordered (just under £60) so will not be back . Had to feed the kids less 2hr later as portions are VERY small.

The food was amazing as always but sadly the service really let the place down and the pain in the backside that was trying to sort out ordering the food didn't help matters either.Firstly if you've never used the online ordering system download and login before you go because it really was a nause trying to do it before ordering.Secondly the staff. Not once did anyone come to our table to check on us and make sure everything was okay which is so unusual with Nandos. Then one of the staff dropped a tub of ice cream on the floor and then picked it up and put it on the table without even apologising or offering to switch. Now I know they have a cardboard lid but still it didn't sit right with me especially when we had spent quite a lot of money for our meal for the 6 of us. I made a comment about my brownie being cold and the lady didn't even acknowledge me to tell me whether that is how it is supposed to be served. Honestly the worst experience I have had with a Nandos but thankfully the food was still good note the 3 stars.

Really enjoy the food at this Nandos, always cooked really well and delicious. The staff couldn’t be any more helpful, always very attentive and incredibly friendly. However, the wait times for tables can be quite lengthy, so be prepared to wait a while to be seated. This is obviously no fault of the staff, but just a minor gripe
