Old Library Lodge And Restaurant in Highland

Just a short overnight stay on Thurs 24/3/22 but we can thoroughly recommend this as a base to explore the area.The hosts were friendly and efficient, everywhere was very clean and comfortable and the choice and standard of food was excellent. Particularly enjoyed the traditional kippers which were on the menu for breakfast! Haven't had for years!Thank you. Helen

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Old Library absolutely fantastic. Penny and David are a great team. So helpful and friendly.The food is outstanding. Beautifully presented and cooked by Jacqueline... David ,your breakfasts are superb!we had great seaviews from our room and sunsets to die for.We can't fault this place. So relaxing,great food,super room .Thanks again!!!

Stayed for three nights last week. We had a lovely room overlooking the loch and marina. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. Best thing of all, the food. It was amazing. Can't wait to return

Beautiful locally sourced menu. Eaten here both nights on my stay in Arisaig and it didn't disappoint. Lovely, friendly family run business. Highly recommended.

Just recently home from Arisaig and as usual we popped into the Old Library for dinner one night. The food was delicious, the venison and black pudding bonbons were mmm mmm. Penny and David were the perfect hosts and we look forward to seeing them again next year 😊

Lovely spot with great views over the Sound of Arisaig. Room was very comfortable, staff friendly and welcoming and food good. Only stayed one night as en route to islands, but would definitely stay again if in the area.

The best Cullen skink we’ve ever had. Had dinner last month and sat outside with the dog. Also, had scallops which were incredible and lovely langoustines. Service was perfect and chef David came out for a wee blether. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.
