Old North Inn Restaurant in Highland

Superb meal, attentive staff, great place all round, would thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly and generous innkeeper. We had a fun stay and enjoyed good food and drinks. Definitely a great start to do your NC500. Also has a huge parking lot.

Good comfy bed with bath and shower over. Hard to get in and out the bath. Meal was mediocre but breakfast was better. One of our party had room over the bar which was very noisy till 12. Road at the front was quiet as it was Sunday. A pub with rooms is the way I'd describe this place. Owner was very helpful and apologetic about the noise.

The room was clean and staff very friendly. Liked the inclusion of the wee fridge.However, on the last morning had the breakfast and the beans were rancid, chap took them away and said he'd opened anew tin, didn't bother to bring any back with him🤣.Understand staff shortages are affecting everyone, however, no staff at all in the hotel, no restaurant or bar open, but these are strange days. Not put off tho, will call again in the future.

I had a really welcoming stay with lovely food room was very comfortable and I slept very well.The staff were friendly and attentive breakfast was excellent we had time to enjoy our food and everything was very fresh. I would definitely recommend stay hear and will return again in future.

Absolutely amazing place! Great food, great cocktails and great rooms. Service was absolutely amazing and just felt comfortable and will definitely be coming back!

For the fact it's seems to be a one man operation bar the kitchen staff. He is the warmest character. Room was perfect best sleep I have had in months 7 pint of Tennets didn't hurt either.

It's my local so we try to support it the best we can but it needs a bit of love & some money spent on it. We tend to sit outside as we take the dogs with us but the marquee that used to be there but blew away in a storm has never been replaced though the frame work remains. There are big bins right beside the seating area at the back of the hotel & they stink on this warm weather. It is quite off putting but could be easily sorted. However it's not all bad. The staff are friendly, the service is fast & pleasant & there is a decent selection of beers & whiskies. We will continue to go to the Old North as it is the nearest pub to us & we do beat the drum for supporting local businesses

Recently stayed here whilst completing the NC500. The room was a good size with a nice new bathroom. The food on offer in the bar both at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Overall, the service was fantastic and very friendly. This is a great spot to stay if you want something quieter than central Inverness.
