Ord House Hotel Restaurant in Highland

June 2021. A one-night stay to break a journey on a Scottish Tour. Ord House is a hidden gem. Like many a country house hotel of the past, you are given an insight into how Estate life used to look. It has oodles of character. If you want shiny minimalism or 21st century chic this isn't for you. It's for people who appreciate charm, history, longevity and tradition. I loved it. Great place to spend the night . Food and staff were fantastic. Dogs played the part too.😉

We had a really nice stay-in. We felt very welcome by the staff and your service (5-stars). We enjoyed breakfast, picknick lunch and supper. The rooms are big, furniture is a bit dated but that suits the house ;). Sorry for the accidental bad review.

I stopped in here in the hope of grabbing a snack. Unfortunately they don't do a snack menu but could offer me cake and hot beverage. Lovely residential dogs who will happily let you tickle their bellies and a attention grabbing chicken. Lovely location and cheery staff.

Lovely hotel, amazing place, very old house lot of original things, very friendly staff, quite place all what you need to rest. And much more you can stay with your dog. Dog friendly hotel. Strongly recommend.

Wonderful. A great place to stay, relax and eat. Staff excellent and the chef produces delicious menus.

Most favorite stay on my trip to Scotland - hospitality superb and food was excellent- the owner himself took us to see his highland coos- we even were able to pet them - just walking the grounds brings inner peace - would highly recommend !! Diane from the USA

Hotel is a slight trip back into time. No TV, hardly any wifi and the hotel itself is a bit dated. However if that isn't a problem it's quite pleasant to stay here. Everything is quite personal and relaxed and good to get away from it all sometimes.

Beautiful country house hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is oozing with character and the grounds and gardens are just fabulous. The food was superb, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the local area.
