Worst take away I have ever had! Only bought from here as my usual Chinese takeaway was closed. Phoned in an order at 7.40pm and didn’t arrive until 9pm!! On a Monday night! Ordered vegetable spring rolls - took a bite out of them and it was chicken!!! I’m a vegetarian!!! Almost threw up immediately 2 minutes into sitting down and eating my meal! Food is just absolutely vile.

1 star is being generous, 100% do not recommend this takeaway - we were told 1 hour for delivery but delivery actually took just under 2 hours!! Food is very bland, I think the most flavoursome part was the prawn crackers. Food felt as if it didn’t have any seasoning at all, ordered crispy chicken and was given bland chicken (as in chicken ball style) in a sauce that had little to no flavour, chicken chow mein didn’t have much flavour either. severely disappointed after waiting for our food for so long.

Diabolical service. Ordered through JustEat, says the food is delivered, nothing arrived. Over two hours. No food has arrived at all. Over 70 attempts to phone, no answer.

Excellent Chinese take away, very fast delivery. House Special Curry with fried rice was really nice with plenty of meat, fish and sauce

Food is absolutely superb. Easily some of the best we've had in Inverness. Hot and Sour soup was perfect, spicy with a proper sour kick and really thick. Noodles and yung chow rice were fresh and well seasoned, shredded beef and roast pork with ginger and spring onion were superb.

Yummy house hasn't been open that long but is now my go to Chinese takeaway in Inverness, the food Is great, tastes fantastic and comes in generous portions, I recommend the bbq spare ribs in any of their sauces and the noodle hot box. The service is friendly and your meal arrives at your door early or on time, never late. Thanks very much.

I have used Peking house for probably 20 years now. I have always been happy with the food and service. It's now under new management. I tried calling in an order tonight, to find the phone's were down. My Wife kindly gave me a lift there as she was picking my Son up from the train station. I ordered Hot & Sour soup and barbecue spare ribs with sauce. After being told I couldn't pay with card, I walked into town to get cash, on getting home with my food, I must say I was bitterly disappointed. The ribs were really fatty and the sauce was thick and salty. The soup was inedible, I actually had one spoonful and threw the rest out, it was so so salty it was disgusting. Peking House, you served me well for many years, but sadly I will never be back. Dennis's from now on. Peking house, you wont last long !!!!

Ordered food at 6 o'clock told they were under new management and could not take card payments and would be an hour. just as well was not played for. Phoned them at 7.15 told they would phone straight back 15 minutes later phoned them and they apologised and said it was on its way gave them 10 minutes and tried to phone back but it was constantly engaged. Food arrived at 8.15 told the delivery driver that was not happy with the time taken so she phoned to tell them and they offered a £5 discount for the inconvenience needless to say they were told that was not acceptable so cheese on toast instead of the food we were so looking forward to.

Had a large order from here last night for a family gathering and it was delicious. I think they must have a new chef or something because we had food from here a year ago and it was very mediocre, so the only reason we ordered again yesterday was how close it is to our house. Glad I did, the sateh king prawns and Singapore noodles in particular were lovely.
