Pier Restaurant in Highland

Popped in by chance as just passing.Guys here plesent ,welcoming and cleanI had the fish and chips, amazing. Light batter, fish taste fresh , chip n peas all good.Wife had fish cakes, she loved them.Great little place .

Great place!! Went there a long time ago as a child and still going to this day i live about an hour drive away so not too often . However, the food is amazing it tastes like normal good not like at mcdonalds good presentation the portions seem quite small but they are filling and very good value for money i would say for 2 people That's 2 burger mains with extras with drinks and 2 dessert cakes with a scoop of ice cream with a coffee for only £40. Definitely worth going there.

The Pier really is the jewel in Lairgs crown. In fact it’s one of the best places to eat north of Inverness period! The staff are always friendly, the food is consistently excellent, the deserts options are mouth watering and staggeringly delicious. The view of the loch is lovely! And best of all the prices are extremely reasonable indeed! A must visit if you’re near Lairg!

Only stopped for coffee and little snacks but great little cafe with great views and outside seating. Main menu looks really interesting too.

Delicious seafood salad. Beautiful setting. Very clean and covid aware. Pleasant staff.

Perfect lunch stop with a good vegan selection including vegan special each day. Beautiful area to sit outside.

I will say this place is not fancy but functional, in saying that it's comfortable but the outside space is fantastic. The girls are all lovely and friendly, the food is just one of the best we have had so far. Really good!You can sit there at look put on to the Loch, fantastic setting, great food, fantastic service. Thank you.

This place is highly recommended. Great food and great surroundings. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the cakes were absolutely stunning and tasted even better. I would say if you are anywhere nearby and want some great food then this is definitely the place to go!

I booked The Pier in advance it was an opportunity to try somewhere new. This restaurant is in a lovely location right beside Loch Shin in Lairg. We were allocated our seat we filled in our track and trace and then we did not wait long for our food to arrive. The menu is not extensive but it does not need to be. I had the haddock and chips and it really was quite a helping. We also had water at the table which is always a nice touch. We also had dessert and I had mint cheesake which was very refreshing. All in all it was a super experience but I would recommend booking in advance especially on a nice day. It was pretty busy the day we were here.

Lovely, clean and cosy.2 big unisex toilets with baby changing table and disability grab rail.Food was nice and well presented and they had lots of freshly made cakes.Hubby loved his cappuccino and my mocha was delicious....I'm very picky about the flavour of my mocha and it's honestly the best I've tasted.Inside and outside seating, and a small but lovely gift shop inside.Well worth the visit.
