Good portion size and friendly service. Over all a good experience. How ever a little over priced, some bones left in fish and mushy peas were on the watery side.

Waited ages but my Mrs said the fish was excellent and I was probably too rough to enjoy the big cheeky smoked sausage

Went to the area on holiday and after getting some takeaway chips to try it out, we quickly realised how lovely the food was. We then proceeded to to go back again and again. The fish, chips and burgers were all soo tasty, fresh and delicious. Wish we had a chip shop like this back at home. We are coming back again later this year where we plan on trying out the pizzas too! Also, each time we went the staff were very friendly and kind. We have nothing to fault with the food or the experience.

So let me start by saying the food taste was TERRIBLE.Ordered 3 fish and chips and they had bones in it and the taste was below average, when i contacted it the restaurants manager he claimed that fish and chipas have bones whereas if you search on the internet it says fish in fish and chips is FILLET and is boneless and the manager was not helpful at all and tried to convince me it wasn’t the restaurants fault and didn’t refund me.Is this FAIR?Not at all recommended!

Worst Fish & Chips and worst scampi! The lady in the till is so rude as well. She even told us that cutlery are inside the bag but when we started eating at the mountain side, there’s nothing! Not recommended at all!

Fantastic service. Phoned to place an order for home delivery. Staff very clear and helpful on the phone, stating also time of delivery. Fish n Chips are so good.

Utter ripoff. Spent almost 20 quid on 2 burger suppers, which is crazy even for a tourist destination. The chips were anaemic looking. The only saving grace was the burger bun, which was quite decent. The lady at the till seemed flustered and was frankly a bit rude. Do yourself a favour, there’s a co-op supermarket 5 mins away, head there and get a better dinner for 5 quid.

Ordered a fish supper. It was fantastic! The only reason I'm giving 4-stars and not 5 is because it was quite expensive for the portion size. One piece of fish and a modest portion of chips was £10.50 as they also charge for sauce.I live in Edinburgh and the chippy I order from gives two pieces of fish and a huge portion of chips with a fish supper and it only costs £7.50. So, for price and portion size, I give a 4/5.

Donner meat on chips. I am a resident and have enjoyed this on a semi regular basis but this weekend I got crispy shoe leather on dried out chips. Its okay saying come back to exchange or refund. I live 9 miles away and this is our only local take out. So sad, seems to be going downhill.

Whilst on our ongoing quest to find the best fish and chips in Scotland, we came upon this place today.Wow!!!.... Had to be the worst so far.The chips tasted as though they had been cooked in last week's bio fuel, and the fish, well, it was a first for me.... Full of bones, and instead being coated in the traditional crispy beer batter, it was wearing its own greasy jacket that resembled a sweat infused mattress topper. After 3 mouthfuls of fish and a half dozen chips.... It got tossed into a bin.Best place for it.
