Best meal out I've ever had! Lovely hosts and beautiful food. Was a bit worried about the lack of wine(!) but the tea pairings were fantastic and complemented the evening perfectly. A must visit in Skye.

The culinary highlight of our honeymoon!As vegans, we were not sure how well we'd be catered for on the Isle of Skye for multiple nights. We were pleasantly surprised that with a bit of preparation and booking in advance, it was no problem to eat well there.Our final night on the island, we walked to Chidakasha, which was down the road from our B&B. We were so happy we booked this weeks ahead as we learned the restaurant was always booked up. We now understand why...The food was beautiful! So fresh and flavoursome. The person serving us had such a gentle demeanour and told us where the food came from and it was paired with the various teas. The restaurant itself was stylish and calm and there were only about six tables, which made it very intimate.We cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough and would definitely book again if we're around.

Superb vegetarian dining experience. Everything about this tiny remote restaurant is exceptional.We booked a few weeks prior to arriving in Skye (which I’d highly recommend, as it’s quite a small restaurant). I’m vegetarian, and discovered Chidakasha online whilst looking for dining options in Skye. I love the concept of tea pairings; which isn’t as popular in the UK as it is in Asian countries.We arrived a little late (from Portree) because of sheep on the roads at various points - who were quite enjoying themselves and in no rush to move! Despite being 15 minutes late, they were very accommodating, and we definitely didn’t feel rushed.The ambiance of Chidakasha is magical, as soon as you walk in, you know that you’re somewhere special; the decor, lighting and background music are all designed to give you a sense of calmness and wellbeing. A lot of thought and love have gone into this beautiful restaurant.The food was exceptional, and the tea pairings were excellent.Fabulous and memorable dining experience. Even my son (who’s resistant to any food resembling or containing vegetables!) really enjoyed the food too.Highly recommended.

This place is a pure gem! We had the most amazing time. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Music, decor and overall ambient makes you wanna be more present and mindful. Meals are prepared by the owner Petra - the most lovely lady who shared with us a bit about her inspirations which made the whole experience even more special. It’s a must go place for sure! Don’t forget to book in advance!!

This was my first experience of tea pairings and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The gardens and setting are gorgeous, as is the presentation of each dish. The ambiance and music were really calming and lovely too. It's well worth stopping by but it's a small venue so do book in advance.

The food not only tasted great, but was presented beautifully too. Had 3 courses matched with different teas and loved it. highly recommend visiting here for a meal - just make sure you book first.

Arrived to the ambience of a himilayan bothie, really lovely place, hidden gem, really nice food, different flavours aromas and textures all on the plate, all vegetarian; I believe most of the ingredients were locally grown. Perfectly paired with some exotic teas and beautifully presented. Friendly service.

Outstanding place, a must visit if you appreciate food and want a genuinely pleasant experience. Petra was extremely friendly and talented with how she presents in season organic food. The best food we've had in a long time!

Where to begin. The space is so beautiful and inviting. The moment you walk in you can tell how much attention and care has gone into creating the space. The tea is so lovely and the food is absolutely delicious, special and fresh. It’s an experience you can’t miss.
