Best chicken fritters and chips you can get locally in my opinion !! Delicious ! Shocked at the Google reviews proves people can be harsh! The service is friendly fast prices are fair abs the foods delicious ! What more can you ask for ! Plus the use real Ora ge cheese not the horrible white cheddar ! The gravy is delicious too! As is the curry sauce ! Me abs my very fussy kids can’t stay away from the place!

Fish supper made to order and tasty. However, small portion of fish and tiny portion of mushy peas. Expensive for what you get.

I do not understand the negative reviews for this chip shop. I have been coming here for years and the standard is very consistent. I returned after a period when I was not able to travel and I was not disappointed. The shop itself is clean and tidy and all the current safety measures are in place. In closing the prices are very competitive.

Service staff were very nice but the chips were covered in a thick covering of oil and tasted of oil wich was extremely unpleasant I will not be returning

This is one of the best fish and chips shops in Scotland in my opinion. Really fresh fish and nice to be able to sit in with a drink or cup of tea. Staff very friendly as well. What's not to like?

I purchased two fish and chips from this establishment earlier today. I drove away 3 miles to sit by the river and eat it. We then found that the batter was limp, rubbery,undercooked,complete with bones and greasy!I had no alternative but to take these two disgusting portions of fish and chips back to the shop.I was greeted by the obese manageress and I started to tell her my problem and she said "Come round the back so the other customers can't see and hear what you're complaining about"I showed her the batter and she said " It looks a bit soggy yes but it's ok for me, but then again I eat pretty much anything!" She then laughed and gave me a ten pound note. I told her that it cost me £15 and she said " Some of the fish and chips are missing" . I explained that we had to taste it. She laughed again.I said we will not be coming back and we will leave a review of it exactly what happened. To that she laughed again and said "Do what you want!"Shocking! Plus out of pocket by five pounds. Absolutely vile and disgusting experience!! Be warned!

Ordered a royal burger & chips an extra £2. No problem I thought came in a tiny container & for £2 there was 23 tiny soggy chips. Absolutely awful & can't say the king rib supper had any more chips. Definitely wont be back.

One word sums up. Avoid.3 x fish supper, 5 minutes to drive home, fish was overcooked, batter was soggy like a pancake, fish has more bones in it than a surgical skeleton, and the grease had seeped through the cardboard box and into the bag. Over £20 wasted, most expensive dog food ever, at least the dog enjoyed it.

Quite possibly the worst fish supper I have ever had. Suggest management visit La Mirage in Helmsdale to see what good looks like.
