Restaurant at Skeabost Country House in Highland

We had a fantastic stay, and enjoyed everything from the beautiful room to the lovely view over the loch as we had a drink before dinner. The food was exceptionally good, and the staff were without exception warm, friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we needed and we will definitely be back - thank you :)

Walking through the front door of the Skeabost House Hotel is like stepping back to an ideal past moment cosseted by deep carpets, wood panels, an open fire and wonderfully generous hospitality. The Skeabost House Hotel is a gem.

We spent two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. John was a wonderful host. The entire staff were excellent. The rooms, beds and linens were so comfortable. We enjoyed the fire in the evenings after our days out. We chose to have dinner there both nights and it was quite good. We also enjoyed our breakfasts. It’s a beautiful location as well. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel

Beautiful setting for this amazing hotel the rooms were very comfortable and clean with views of the Loch. Staff all really friendly and helpful on arrival we had a very friendly welcome from receptionist Sarah. We could not have asked for more. We ate in the dinning room on 3 of the nights and the food was lovely and all freshly cooked my only complaint was that the menu was small and didn't change hence why we went out one evening. From the friendly staff to the roaring fire everything was amazing. Our 4 night stay went far too quickly. We would love to have had longer. If we go back to the Isle of sky we will definitely go back. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

A welcome luxury after being in a camper van for 7 days. The staff here are second to none, friendly and couldn’t have done more for you. Amazing food, great drinks and a fire for after dinner. Room was spacious and well looked after.

Had dinner here last night, and we were very impressed with the attentive service and the excellent menu and food. However, our experience was really let down by the hotel interior- although it’s a gorgeous building, what the hotel website doesn’t show you is another dining area separate to the conservatory and the more traditional panelled dining room which is where ourselves and other guests were sat. The room felt more like a disused meeting room, with harsh lighting and a very uncomfortable atmosphere (it was essentially a corridor from the kitchen and bar area through to the main conservatory dining room). With a spruce-up this too could be a lovely area to eat thanks to the stunning views, however currently it is not fit for purpose in a hotel of this standard. We assume perhaps the reason we were sat here was because we were not staying in the hotel itself? Very disappointed, and we expected more from a hotel which is held in such high regard

This hotel is fantastic set in beautifulgrounds , staff couldn't do enough for you, all were amazing especially Chelsea, Samantha, Robert and John. All other staff were amazing too just didn't catch their names. Food was amazing at breakfast and Dinner, we would definitely return to this fantastic hotel. We give it 10/10 we'll done to all staff you were amazing!!

We stopped here for lunch the other day. The weather was fine so we sat outside on the decking with a lovely view of the loch. The inside of the hotel is also beautiful. The food was excellent. Would recommend.

Stopped for early dinner. We were dressed very casually but were treated as if we were special guests. All the staff were attentive and also genuinely friendly. Beautiful three course meal, excellent. Went for a walk after dinner in the grounds of the hotel. Very pleasant meal, wonderful experience. Would return.

Had Sunday lunch with friends didn't stay, however got a warm welcome by the staff on arrival, we're taken to the bar and order drinks. Then taken the table, in the conservatory, order the food and was looked after through out the meal, could not fault the food or the excellent staff credit to the hotel. Would recommend.
