Absolutely stunning food, price tag for what we had was hefty as the portions were small but hands down the best meal we've had in Scotland. We came with our anxious rescue dog & the staff could've been more accommodating for that. We will be back on our return from the ferry!

I never got to stay as I tested positive for Covid & got my result yesterday (Thu 24th Mar) morning 08:30am and was due to check in Fri 25th Mar @ 3pm I emailed the hotel straight away but could not rebook as it was 'outwith the 48 hour cancellation window'I had bookings cancelled twice by the hotel due to Government restrictions so it seams a bit unfair that I cannot rebook for a different date & therefore loose my money due to me having Covid 'outwith the 48 hour cancellation window'

Had a lovely meal here on my birthday with the fam. Great veggie options - rather a rarity in Skye - well presented and served with a genuine smile. I understand the mussels and the burger were delicious too, but not my area of expertise. All told, not terribly priced, but not exactly cheap either. You get what you pay for though - a good thing, in this instance.

Kinda perfect, my daughter in law comments, she's American! And it is. A beautifully presented hotel and bar, in a great setting. The service was excellent as was the menu choices. We only stopped for a lunch but wanted to stay for the night! Jay Rayner would love the wine list, a good choice starting from under £20 a bottle. So if you find yourself in Uig Isle of Skye, drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Great meals & drinks. Small but very clean hotel! Definitely a great place to stay! Getting up here watch the roads & take care NOT to drive on the shoulders. There are nasty rocks that eat car tires like trolls !!! If you rent to drive here make certain you get an SUV with at least 70 series tires.

An absolutely amazing stay. The staff are all friendly, attentive and professional. The food is on another level, so tasty, couldn't fault anything with the breakfast or dinner. We will be back!

A convenient hotel if you’re getting an early morning ferry from Uig to the islands, but I can’t rank our stay in the Uig Hotel among my favourites.Everything is just OK — the rooms, the food, amenities etc., nothing was missing or lacking, it was just adequate, average.I can recommend the hotel on those grounds, but it’s not somewhere to stay if you plan on doing much more in the hotel other than sleeping.I recommend avoiding the Skye Red beer. It wasn’t great.

Lovely hotel, it's nothing fancy but the beds are really comfy, it's really quiet at night with beautiful views out the front windows. The showers are high pressure and brilliant too. Breakfast was huge and delicious, but most of all the staff are just wonderful, they go out of their to think about you as a guest and what you need and really made the stay for me. Oh and it's really good value for money!!

What a wonderful, warm & welcoming hotel this is. We stayed overnight to catch the ferry in the morning. The staff are al very friendly and the meals we had were excellent they have a good vegetarian choice and the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day. Great local knowledge led us to a beautiful fairy glen nearby.

Me and my partner had dinner at Uig hotel. We had the trout and red deer. It was the best restaurant we have been in a very long time of the 5 years we have been living in the UK. Very cosy place and the staff were very nice. I already want to come back to the island and now I want to come back even more to try other foods in here.
