Russell's Restaurant in Highland

Great location next to the beach with free parking nearby. Nice hotel with cosy bar. Breakfast was delicious. Very friendly staff.

It's always a pleasure to dine at The Russell Hotel,great atmosphere and excellent staff. The food as always was excellent, nicely presented and very tasty. Looking forward to returning for lunch.

8 in our party in a private room which was a bit small. Food was ok not excellent. Fillet steak not as good as I expected.

Really enjoyed the food here. Small area for tables inside along with a bar and coffee machine. Lunch menu offered various selections. Service was good, bread, water all brought to table. We had crab and lobster ancinni to start. Lovely sauce and cheese crisp. The lamb was tender and gravy with vegetables to be recommended.

Our group had dinner on Saturday evening. The food was excellent. The wine was excellent and the service our we received was five star. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just returned from a 2 day break at The Russell. Michael and the team were outstanding. Fabulous choice of breakfast and evening dinner was superb. Can’t thank you for making our stay just fabulous!

Lovely meal to be had here. Varied menu which suits meat and fish eaters as well as vegetarians. Friendly and helpful waiter.

Could not recommend this place more highly. Comfy rooms, great service and brilliant food at the restaurant downstairs. Staff went out of their way yo ensure we had a good stay. Will return for sure.

Visited for drinks, coffee and food while staying next door. Friendly welcome from bar staff. Grant, David Pierre and a young lady. Who always greeted us with a smile and had a chat with us. Great service. we ordered. and they brought our drinks outside to our table. The bar area was always busy with guests and tourists. Worth a visitSee you all again next time ;)

The staff are really nice and go out their way to make you feel welcome, from the bar staff,waitering staff and a warm welcome in the morning from the housekeeping team. Hotel is in easy walking distance from the bars and shops. Food at the hotel restaurant is excellent as is breakfast in the morning. Hotel has a cosy bar and reasonably priced. The Russell Hotel is highly recommended if your looking for an overnight break in St Andrews. Thank you for looking after us.
