Salen Hotel Restaurant in Highland

Popped in for a beer as I was staying at the nearby campsite. Very pleasant staff, and good Guinness!

Not cyclist friendly.

Didn't stay here but were looking for food while we stayed at the local campsite. On this particular night, they were doing takeaway only which suited us fine. The burgers were amazing (I had the Ben More burger). The meat was juicy and full of flavour, the bacon was nice and thick, and the burger introduced me to Mull cheddar which rounded off the taste nicely.The gentleman (owner) was very pleasant and friendly and the food was ready and piping hot for the arranged pick up time.

Needs updated decor. Rooms are OK beds are comfy tvs are very small. Food really good

The photos and description of this hotel bear little relation to reality. All must be from years ago. Tired, run down and overpriced. An insult to the hospitality businesses of Mull.

Always a warm, friendly welcome. Fantastic to see local teens working there. Fabulous hospitality.

Just got home from 2 weeks in Scotland. We spent several days at this hotel and it was my favorite accommodation of the entire trip. The room was very comfortable and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and super helpful. They made us feel like family. And the food was WONDERFUL!I highly recommend staying here. 5 stars from me for sure. I’ll definitely be returning to Scotland and to the Salen Hotel!

We stopped here for lunch as planned and agreed.staff were good and helpful with food fresh and flavoursome. It does seem a bit like the land time forgot but that's ok. It was not the most beautiful hotel but was suitable and clean for the money.

Had an excellent stay for two nights food was brilliant wholesome & homecooked.The B&B prices are very reasonable too. Would recommend the Salen Hotel 🏨 to others . A big thank you to Gerry & the Team for hosting our trip .
