Dog friendly place. Friendly staff and fast services. Decent portions. The reason why I rated only with four is because we ordered 3 different meals/orders and they all have lots of same cheezy sauce. The sauce was good but little bit too much

Brilliant bar to the end of our night. The Black Bella cocktail...was one of the favs! The 2 barmen that were serving (1st July) were brilliant...good banter and couldnt do enough for us. Well done!

Very good tasting food. This place had a lot of google reviews that’s why we went. We started off with Haggis and fried pickles. Small amount of starters for the price for £6 each. We ordered Ultimate dawg and a gf hamburger. The hamburger patties were off. Over cooked hamburger patty for our liking. Fried ultimate dawg was great with cheese and meat. They also charge for all side dishes.

Came here for a casual dinner with friends, and had a fantastic evening. If you're looking for a place for decent food, lots of beverages, and a great fun atmosphere, I would check this place out!

Visited here recently, with a friend and my dog too, and I highly recommend it! The staff are always really nice, friendly and chatty; the dog got lots of attention and love from them! The menu is great, with lots of choice and variety to it. Their cocktail list is also impressive, with lots of theatrics and style to their drinks! We ordered cocktails and burgers (classy choice, we know) and everything was really tasty and enjoyable. My only downside, if there was one, was that it got really busy and did feel really crowded with the size/space between tables, etc.Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Ordered haggis popcorn, steak Philly sandwich, baked jackfruit Mac & cheese. Everything was surprisingly quite good. Portions were generous, and we were quite full after that. Will recommend this place.

Scotch and Rye serves one of the best quesadillas with pork or chicken fillings. The 3 different types of sauces that comes with it was amazing. For 2 medium sized quesadillas for one person, it is reasonably priced. I loved my food and you will too.

We really liked our visit to Scotch & Rye. The burgers were good, wouldn’t say they were anything spectacular. But they were decent for the money, especially given the eat out to help out offer they were running. The sweet potato fries however were excellent. We also loved our drinks, I had the strawberry cosmopolitan and it was one of the best I’ve had. The other drink was a salted caramel White Russian and it went down far too easily, as it was so tasty.

Nice cocktails. Attentive and friendly staff. But the food could do with improvement. The dishes looked good, but sadly lacked any real flavour.

My husband and I came here on Wednesday, august 11th. And we thought it was amazing. It started out a little rocky because they greeted us at the door saying they are short staffed and it might be a while till we get food but then we were only here for 40 minutes and we got our drinks, food and we finished eating. So I say it wasn’t much of a wait. It was REALLY good.I hope people who come here have a great time like we did.Beth, our server, was fantastic. She was really lovely and made our experience quite light and happy. The only down side I would say are that the seats are super uncomfortable. Hard metal seats that dig into your sides when you sit all the way back. But this still didn’t take anything from my experience. 10/10 would come back or recommend.
