Really good little restaurant in Skye. It is a small business, which my husband and I really love. Prices are fair and the food was very good (small selection). The waitress was very friendly and definitely need a reservation to dine here. Very recommended!

Booked a table for our recent trip to Skye and we weren't disappointed. I had the scallops with mushroom risotto and my Wife and Step-Daughter had the Salmon. All beautifully cooked and fresh. Desserts were chocolate brownie and sticky date pudding which was especially good. Would definitely go again. 10/10.

The food in this place is outstanding. Had the scallop risotto and it was just utterly delicious. Not had better scallops in my life. Just mouthwatering. The special oatmeal honeycomb and whisky ice cream was again delicious. Service was really good even though they are a little stretched. Only reason for not giving a five star is the price was a little steep, though again, you will not be disappointed with the quality of the food.

We booked a table here as we couldn't get one on our visit last year and we were very happy we did. It's a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We both had the same food, which was cured salmon to start, Monkfish scampi for main and we shared the date pudding. The salmon was great and the pickled cucumber was sharp and went very well with the dish. This was a simple, well put together starter. The Monkfish was the same and it was great to have as scampi for a change. It came with a pea puree but the star was the monkfish itself, which was cooked beautifully. It was soft and well seasoned and the portion size was just right for the price. We almost didn't have desert but I'm so glad we did. I normally find sticky toffee pudding type desserts too sweet but we tried their version of it and I'm so glad we did. The sponge was light and delicate and the sauce wasn't too sweet. It was a very well balanced dessert and I'd highly recommend trying it. All round a great meal and I'd happily come back here. Service was spot on too! I also liked the St Mungo lager they served, which was a pleasant surprise

From great service to the food, it was amazing. As soon as we arrived we felt welcome and the staff was very attentive and polite and as for the food it was delicious πŸ˜‹ we ordered 4 starters and 4 mains to share between 4 and every single dish was so fresh and tasted beautiful. Would definitely go back and recommend to try if your ever in Portree.

6 out of 5 stars! The restaurant had just ran out of lagoustines, but then as they took our order, more were delivered and we got them as fresh as they get! They tasted superb. The salmon was so perfectly cooked with just some salt and pepper, because it doesn't really need anything else. The mussels were cooked to perfection as well, in white wine and shallots. The food does justice to the amazing ingredients that are available, making them the star! The atmosphere is laid back and the service is fantastic. It's worth every penny for an amazing experience of local sea food, but without the pretentiousness. Shout out to the waiter who made sure everything was perfect for us. We had a great experience!

We had the best meal we had on Skye here. The food was exceptional. Definitely get the seafood platter. My partner had the mussels and they were also fantastic. Great smoked salmon to start and date pudding to finish as well. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to a friend. Service was all on point. Overall a great experience.
