We had a burger with chips and a vegetable pasta.The burger and the chips were ok, not better than McDonald's or Burger King but ok.There was also some onion chutney that I liked a lot.The vegetable pasta was just bad. We were not expecting a super delicious pasta but this was really really bad quality!I'm not a cook but with pasta and some vegetables i will make you something delicious and not charge you 16£.

Was visiting from New Zealand and excited to try Scottish steak. The special sounded good . Confit tomato.. ribeye steak.. mushrooms.. fries. The steak was almost all sinew and fat. Tomato scored on bottom and 1min in oven as the mushroom. No one asked how was our meal..so I mentioned it but no response from the kitchen

Don’t leave reviews often. But standard of food was exceptionally poor . The “fresh “ fish I would place money on that it came straight out a birds eye box Out of 3 tables at time of eaten we complained about standard and another couple sent there food back Avoid

Driving up to Scotland and had this as one of our stop overs, only to find it doesn't open till night time. Not a good advert

Went as a family. Parents and 3 children (11-12). We all had a lovely evening.Beautiful dining room with great views, nice lighting and good music at just the right volume. Attentive but not intrusive waiting.Food- starters, mains, puddings - all excellent. Good portions. Lovely side salads and finishing to all the meals.Compared to other restaurants we’ve experienced in Scotland on this trip, for a similar price, it felt like particularly good value too.
