Shieldaig Bar and Coastal Kitchen in Highland

Absolutely divine! We called in while north coasting and had the small fish and chips. The fish was the best I’ve had in a while and the tarter source amazing. The portions were generous too.

There is nothing better than a proper meal after a hike. This place has it all - good food, local beer, excellent views! Loved it.

I loved that when all of Sheildaig was closed for Christmas, this little place was lit up like a Christmas Tree showing the world they were open. Such a friendly welcome on arrival, beautiful place and really nice staff, and the Oat Milk Latte that we had was well received while sitting outside overlooking the Loch. The menu did have several vegan options though we didn't eat, so can't comment on the food, but if it's anything like the coffee and warm welcome, then it will be amazing. Dog friendly too!

Amazing local food, local fish. Really kind & happy staff to all visitors...Fantastic food too eat in/take away. Benches outside to sit looking across stunning view.Cakes & coffee or full 3 course meals.Welcoming to dogs.And with an accessible toilet! Can't access upstairs seating as a wheelchair user so just say when booking.easy parking.Thank you!

Haggis pizza was delicious. Freshly prepared in an open style kitchen and they did not hold back on the toppings. Real wood pizza oven made it taste fantastic. Really welcoming and helpful staff too.

We prebooked well in advance. Good menu.  Unfortunately the hot Langostines that I wanted to try were not available so opted for the cold ones with thousand island dressing. They were good but felt I missed out on trying the hot ones.Scallops with bacon and Fennel puree were lovely.  Cooked perfectly and good flavours.For mains Seafood pizza which had clams, squid, hot Smoked salmon, mussels, Langostine anchovies. Could've done with a bit more sauce on the pizza but did have a lot of topping. Overall a good meal.  Lovely location and good service , good sunset views.

Don't expect candle light, more bistro but the fresh seafood is amazing and definatley worth a visit. Book well in advance.

A wonderful place to eat anytime. From cake to lunch to amazing seafood platters in the evening the food is fresh and cooked to perfection. The pub is cosy and welcoming, staff professional and attentive with a good sense of humour. A good idea to book.

Fantastic spot both pub/restaurant and town to stop at on the way up and have a drink outside by the loch. Very friendly staff and good chat with the locals.
