Gorgeous food and a lovely ,helpful, friendly man being waiter and barman. Fabulous food. We had a camembert with tasted bread and a chilli nachos to share. Sooooo good. Early closing though. So no food after 9.30 I think. I will definitely return early evening for a tomahawk steak

The food was home made and spot on. The bar downstairs is lush... top tunes, relaxed and ski themed. I was in Aviemore for three nights and visited every day.

Lovely wee pub/restaurant. Great food and great atmosphere. Young bar tender Mathew went above and beyond to facilitate me on a last minute booking for my fiancée’s birthday. Went for a steak with friends.Really impressed with the meal.Steaks done perfectly.Nice chips and onion rings too.Chicken wings and nachos to start were really good.Good service.Would definitely go back.

Had a lovely meal here.Initially we had booked Winking Owl but after being disappointed there (Menu not as advertised on website).Anyway my husband and I went here without a booking to be told that they were fully booked through till August.... But thanks to the wonderful front of house gent he wangled us a table downstairs for 2.Mia our server gave us our menus and drinks in a quick and chatty manner.Tom ordered the chilli beef nachos/t bone steak/pepper sauce and I had the pulled pork nachos/apple sauce/Mad mac burger(mac n cheese). OMG, the portions were enormous... And with the beer/large white wine everything was perfect..Can't praise the staff and restaurant enough.Thanks Skiing Doo for coming to the rescue of another wise downbeat night.😄👍

We popped in here for lunch during a recent stay in the town. We both found the chap working there a little unfriendly when we arrived, and I was a little dismayed to be informed that two of the three vegan items on the menu were unavailable, leaving me only a starter of a vegetable skewer and (shudder) chips, which I was really getting sick of after a few days in Scotland. Seriously, it’s not hard to just offer some basic vegetable dishes so that vegetarians/vegans don’t have to keep resorting to chips.My partner ordered a steak. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Also, bizarrely, the supposedly vegan kebab was served with a honey dressing, which most vegans won’t eat.They really need to modernise their menu and make it a little more imaginative and flavourful.
