Apologies for the picture of the half eaten burger. Came here for a quick rest stop and for a quick bite. Hands down 10/10 for the Blue Cheese and Mushroom Burger. Good stuff!

Not five star, but nice and friendly staff, soup could do with having brown bread to go with it.Chicken curry was lovely & spicy, bit hot on temperature, which was better than not been hot enough, nice break and stop on our journey. 👍Thank all.T.

Stopped in at the Snack Shack whilst out on an unplanned road trip. We were only looking for a coffee and a toilet stop but once inside out of the cold we checked out the menu and decided to stay for lunch. We ordered Macaroni Cheese and Loaded fries with Haggis and Cheese. Both meals were ready within 5 minutes and both were piping hot and really tasty. Couldn’t fault the food, the staff or the setting.A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff at the Snack Shack and I could whole heartedly recommend them to anyone traveling up the A9 to stop in and fill their boots at the Snack Shack Dalwhinnie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely breakfast at Snack Shack on Monday before travelling home after a weekend break in Newtonmore. The staff were welcoming and friendly and our food was freshly cooked to order. What I particularly liked was that you can create your own breakfast by choosing your favourite items and quantity. Excellent value for money too. Thank you Snack Shack, we'll be back 😊

Stopped here to lift the Dalwhinnie Stone out front. Stone was awesome, as was the burger and fries I had afterward. Seems like a family run place, and everyone was very nice. Great stop on the way to Inverness.

Stopped here on route to Inverness and grabbed a bacon roll. Massive rolls and good quick service. There’s also a charger that you can use for electric cars but there is a tariff.

Good place for a quick bite, portions of food are quite filling and tasty. Would have been 5 stars had the owner been a bit more polite.

Building out of date, old furniture and carpets. The food was ok but the state of this house...poor 😔 Big parking and an electric car charging space.

We have stopped at the Snack Shack several times and it is a perfect place to visit to stretch your legs, use the 🚾 restrooms and have a bite to eat. The food is homemade, tasty and reasonably priced £. The menu is extensive and has vegetarian options. The service is friendly and fast and the facility is clean. The interior looks like a modern chalet (perhaps a little dated, but who cares as it is clean) with vaulted ceilings and it is equipped with a wood burning stove for ambiance and heat. The views by the windows are nice as there is a stream with wildlife.
