Great pit stop, enjoyed the all day breakfast roll with haggis and bacon 😋

I like the Snack Shack, I've been using it since it reopened. Dalwhinnie seems to be ideally placed. I'm always nearby when getting hungry. Anyways the food is mostly good, love the mac cheese which I devoured, the only thing to date I haven't been keen on is their curry sauce. Proper morning rolls instead of baps would be a wee bonus for breakfast rolls.

Nice place to stop at. Excellent menu for that breakfast, lunch or brunch. Variety of choices for Non-Veg, Vegetarians & even Vegans too. Cost is easy on the pocket too. Excellent location next to river / brook side with Green vegetation around it, with plenty of parking. Its ideally placed / located for that refuel for you as well as the car, as there is fuel station across the road within metres if not yards. I highly recommend the place, albeit its unique seating under open plan area & cramped toilet area although clean. Staff are kind & helpful, although it they did lack that bit smiles on their faces...perhaps it was just the odd day I'm sure.

Apologies for the picture of the half eaten burger. Came here for a quick rest stop and for a quick bite. Hands down 10/10 for the Blue Cheese and Mushroom Burger. Good stuff!

Not five star, but nice and friendly staff, soup could do with having brown bread to go with it.Chicken curry was lovely & spicy, bit hot on temperature, which was better than not been hot enough, nice break and stop on our journey. 👍Thank all.T.

Stopped in at the Snack Shack whilst out on an unplanned road trip. We were only looking for a coffee and a toilet stop but once inside out of the cold we checked out the menu and decided to stay for lunch. We ordered Macaroni Cheese and Loaded fries with Haggis and Cheese. Both meals were ready within 5 minutes and both were piping hot and really tasty. Couldn’t fault the food, the staff or the setting.A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff at the Snack Shack and I could whole heartedly recommend them to anyone traveling up the A9 to stop in and fill their boots at the Snack Shack Dalwhinnie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good place for a quick bite, portions of food are quite filling and tasty. Would have been 5 stars had the owner been a bit more polite.

We have stopped at the Snack Shack several times and it is a perfect place to visit to stretch your legs, use the 🚾 restrooms and have a bite to eat. The food is homemade, tasty and reasonably priced £. The menu is extensive and has vegetarian options. The service is friendly and fast and the facility is clean. The interior looks like a modern chalet (perhaps a little dated, but who cares as it is clean) with vaulted ceilings and it is equipped with a wood burning stove for ambiance and heat. The views by the windows are nice as there is a stream with wildlife.
