Star Indian Takeaway in Highland

Chilli Masala is the Indian of choice. I've not been to the star but I know it cannot be better than Chilli Masala. I have never tasted food like it from any other of the 70 or so different Indian restaurants I've been to in my life.

Great little takeaway good food good service as for the previous left post how can you possibly leave a review of one star on an establishment you've never even eaten from?

The food is great! Wether we get it delivered or we pick it up, the food is always hot. Staff are very friendly too! Would definitely recommend

Have used Star India for many years as it is the only Indian that will deliver to where we live. Quality has always varied from visit to visit. Last night ordered a lamb biryani that was tasty, but the rest of the order was appalling. Stale popadoms, and the most tasteless and anaemic-looking korma and tikka masala that I have seen.

Thot id try for a change. Wish i hadnt. Ordered madras. Very bland and wrong colour for a madras. Chicken dry aswell. Awful foostie taste to the chips. Prob one of worst indians ive had. Waste of money

The best Indian I've ever had in 18 years I can't even call it an Indian because it's nothing like other Indians it's just amazing all the dishes I've had there have been exceptional so far price is great And the amount you get is almost too much highly recommend

I don't have an option to give negative rating. So forced to give 1.He is earning money with the name of India and having very bad mentality for our India and Indians. Being an Indian, I will suggest you to think 100 times before you go to such pathetic restaurant and most important owner and worker who is having such sick mentality for our country....

Been going Here for a year now. Collect orders. Doesn't matter what I get its always good and hot. Staff are friendly and I always manage with one meal shared between two people. The average meal cost is £11. Which between 2 is cheap. Always order a Peshawari Nan and you get a free poppadom and a couple of tubs of spiced onion and yoghurt based sundries. All round you just can't go wrong

I think this place changed hand about 2 years ago as service changed considerably. I received a number wrong orders and got rude responses to my complaints. I stopped going and a year later I tried again. Same thing. Wrong order and live 15 miles away so can't nip in. Wasted a lot of money and won't be back. Shame as it used to be great with amazing customer service. They now seem to be just making money, cutting portion sizes, using cheap cuts of meat, customer service gone.
