Taste of China in Highland

I was visiting Edinburgh and thought I would give this a try. The food was so tasty and really good sized portions. I walked there and ordered and did not have to wait too long for the food. Food was also piping hot, even after a short walk back to hotel. I wish it was my local so I could try more of their food.

I’d been here once.The price is really good with the amount of food you get. The owner is really friendly, will come back again.

3rd time that i have used this establishment, what can i say the food is excellent, the portions are large and the service was 1st class. Will definitely order again!

We order from this restaurant nearly every week! Great flavour and generous portions. We love the duck fried rice and char sui chow mein. Very good value for money, thank you!

Was looking forward to this after seeing so many good reviews. Sadly disappointed. Over an hour delay in getting the food delivered, arrived hot which was a good start. Went downhill from there. Very greasy prawn toast. Sweet and sour sauce was cloying and overall the food was mediocre at best. I've had much better from other Chinese/asian restaurant/take aways local to me, so I think this will be a pass from me after this one off experience.

The flavours on the dishes were not as I was expecting. The Egg Fried rice had no flavour. The sweet and sour chicken was ok.I did think the portion sizes were good which is shame that the taste was not there. Prices were little on the steep

It's went way downhill. I have used this take away for many years but as the prices go up the portion size go's down and the food is not as good as it once was. Best to stick to the basics with this place. Rice and Chow Mein usually fine. Curry is hit or miss, Sweet n sour is what you would expect. The Happy Meal is decent value but the choice of starters on it is not great. They say there is no delivery charge if you order from Just Eat but that's not true. It's an O.K Chinese they deliver well mostly always on time but I'm now on the hunt for a new regular.

Sesame prawn toast was not prawns. It was a rancid smelling something else that was so bad I was asked to contact the Food Standard Agency by just Eat when I contacted them to complain. TOC were not interested when I called them. Please do not order from here.

I really loved the food from here!The noodles, albeit only noodles, are some of the best noodles I’ve eaten! The meat is also really very tasty!You get really large portions so it’s well worth your money! The delivery time is pretty quick as well!I definitely recommend takeaway from here if you’re in the mood for a chinese!

Ordered their takeaway several times. Flavor is good and the price is reasonable. Nice one.
