The Barn Cafe in Highland

Really nice wee cafe, had a lovely breakfast. Child and dog friendly. Reasonably priced. Not a bad spot to get up a d go for breakfast :)

The staff were not helpful, not friendly- in face rude and actively talking about us!- and unprofessional. Our lunch was £27 and was below average! Asked for a gluten free wrap and the wrap I was given was not GF!! We traveled here after reading the fabulous reviews but would not return or recommend. Would highly advise paying more attention to dietary requirements- someone could have a much higher intolerance/reaction than me.

The food we just had was beautiful, very tasty well presented and lovely staff. This is so much more than you would expect from a site cafe, well done to you all, Tracy and Craig

Attentive service. Good homecooked food. Best we experienced in the area. Wish we'd eaten there both nights. Will definitely go back.

Amazing food and coffee. Staff are brilliant and friendly, have been several times this week while we are on holiday. Tried breakfast, tea and cake and a main meal in the evening, honestly can't fault it

I had the veggie breakfast at The Barn Cafe and immediately wished I'd eaten there for every meal during our short stay. I can truthfully say this was the probably the best veggie breakfast I have ever eaten and thats including those I've made for myself! It was perfect. The veggie haggis was absolutely amazing (especially so after an awful haggis experience elsewhere). Its rare my veggie plate looks better than the husbands but it so did this day. Ps. They serve it much more prettily than my pic!

EXTRA friendly staff, great cheese panini, lovely fish and chips. We also took a coffee which was great! Not many places to eat around midday, but this one has everything you need :)

What’s not to love about this place. Friendly staff taking Covid seriously which is great, place was super clean. Food is very tasty and it’s on the campsite! 10/10 all round.

It's wonderful to have such an amazing cafe/restauraunt/take away as part of a campsite. Let alone a site in the North West Highlands.We had some lovely takeaway food from the Shepherd's Hut on our first night. Fish and chips and scampi and chips were some of the best we've had.On our last morning we went for a breakfast which was nothing short of amazing. Fantastic and friendly service. Great views. Tasty food.Maybe book ahead for an evening meal during peak season.Top marks.

What a treat! Location, atmosphere, service all heavenly made for a great dinner experience with a stroll afterward. The value for money is unbeatable! Thanks for a lovely evening!
