Nice local restaurant in a pub environment. Gets busy. Food was fairly good and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Lovely food, a must if you like fish. Unfortunately I don't but the chicken was gorgeous and I asked for garlic butter instead of plum sauce...amazing! The hand cut chips were best I've tasted in a long time...thick cut but fluffy potato. Homemade tomato sauce was delicious too...unique!

A friendly atmosphere with a mix of locals and tourists. Tasty food (BEST treacle tart ever, light and lemony). Staff were very busy with a big party but just about coped. One star lacking due to the strange vibration coming through the floor which made it feel as though we were on a boat. It stopped after an hour and a half!

A very nice, little restaurant. I recommend looking at the menu on the board, as not all dishes are available all the time due to the remote location. Yet, that makes the meal fresher and more special. The food was delicious, and the service quick and courteous. There is also a nice view on the river.

My husband and I decided to visit this restaurant. As we entered about 5ish, it was empty but with good reason as I was told that the service didn't start until 6.00pm. We decided to wait and have a drink. After waiting almost an hour! The waitress told us that all the tables were booked for 7-8ish, so if we ate fast she would make sure our order was taken first. We ordered from the board which is in 2 parts small plates, Large plates, we ordered haddock and chips with tartar sauce and squash peas from the large plate menu. When it arrived about 15 mins later, it was in our opinion a very small portion with only a handful of chips, and feel it's a little expensive for what you get, I must admit I felt watched and tried to eat my food quickly...After finishing we paid and left the restaurant straight away. I must admit I now have ingestion. Over all the staff were pleasant and the environment was cramped, but what a lovely view of the Loch. Wouldn't go back.

An unexpected gem. Walking in as an unexpected group of 12 adults and kids, with no reservation, we were welcomed and a bit of juggling had us established. The small team of chaps who looked after us were excellent, and despite the semi-feral children who'd been living on wild camp sites for a week, we were clearly very welcome and the atmosphere relaxed. Then the food arrived. Every bit as good as the welcome, one of the best meals out I've had in ages. I had the scallops, a venison casserole, and choc tart. All were amongst the best I've had, especially the venison. To top it all, the pint of Suilven was spot on and exceedingly quaffable. The only slight hitch was making sure the split bill added up as some stuff we'd had was missed, but all was handled with a smile and apology. How a foodie pub should be done, not to say that you wouldn't be welcome just for a pint.

High quality but on the pricier side. Not your standard pub grub. Small beer garden.

Really impressed. Crab cakes were yummy and ox cheeks were melt in your mouth. Ate again night before we left every bit as good. Haddock was beautiful , tartare sauce so fresh, peas with a hint if vinegar and chips spot on and well seasoned

Lovely gastro-pub with very generous portions and a distinctive highlands flavour - interesting twists on local ingredients and recipes. Fresh scallops, local vegetables, fish and seasonal produce. Cosy seating areas, with good views in the dining room out to sea. A couple of local beers and friendly staff complete the package. Please check the opening times since it stops serving food earlier than one would expect.
