Fantastic food brilliant staff, a must for anyone. Best I've had.

Fantastic place to eat- friendly staff, great food and dog friendly in the bar! I visited at the end of April with my adult son and small dog. We are a dual heritage family from the south of England and We were new to the area having stopped in during our tour of the NC 500. We had veggie burgers- huge Portions and prompt service- the bar staff were so friendly and professional and they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and relaxed- would highly recommend!

Great pub and restaurant. Although they were busy, they squeezed us in for food. My husband had the lamb and I had the mixed beef dish. Mine came on a cold plate which is why I knocked off a star and so one of my beef cuts was a bit cold but the rest of the meal was good and delicious. Shouldn't have had the passion fruit cheesecake but it was also delicious 😋 Would highly recommend it.

This place has a wonderful feature I've never seen before: outdoor tables inside greenhouses. This is a genius idea - the weather is always tricky outside, but you can always enjoy your beer outside.

I'm sure it's lovely but we only visited for drinks in outside garden. Have no complaints,husband said toilets were spotless and staff nice .So I feel I cannot give more as did not really see or interact

upstairs climb to reach the pub restaurant but worth the climb. ambience is lovely staff are very attentive. sitting area is spotless a chairs nice to look at and comfy. food was absolutely delicious and worth the money. home cooked chips were a defo winner. yummy. would highly recommend.

Fantastic Service, superb food and smiles all round. The waitress dropped my meal, but apologised and sorted another dish, which was delicious - no harm done. Incredible value and brilliant food. What else can you want?

We stayed at Donorch caravan & 🚐 site. Pub was only 10 minute walk. On entering the local barman was very helpful & the pub in the bar area was dog friendly which was good for us with our Westie. The food was mainly typical pub grub but was lovely & fresh. Would recommend this place.

At least 50 minutes to get are food. Mix grill was more fat than meat and unfortunately the chicken was dry. No steak knife was offered. Ordered desserts with kids desserts and the kids desserts never arrived. On total we were in the place from 5.15pm till 7.05pm. We didn’t want to hang around any longer or wait due to the kids needing to get comfortable for the night. Staff were really polite but maybe just speak to make customers and make them aware if there will be a delay coming from the kitchen and being more observant when orders are placed and making sure customers actually get their food

First night in the area and we had decided to try the nearest place to our apartment , great choice as the Coachhouse provided a good meal in a nice environment ,even for a Monday night late in October it was quite busy but our food and drinks came quickly and correctly. I had the scallops followed by the chicken burger while the gf had the fish and chips , all delicious and well cooked , price was very reasonable so a good start to our stay in Dornoch.
