Once again, the best pub in the village. Food amazing and the banter flowing well with Robbie. Dog friendly as long as their owners behave. Whisky selection is superb. A must visit if in the area. Thank you again Beryl n Robbie. πŸ₯ƒπŸ₯ƒπŸ‘πŸ»

Superb! I've travelled up from aberdeenshire to the campsite and usually we would pick up a chipper due to the dogs. Craig bar had a warm welcome for us plus the dogs. The pies were amazing, I had the Moo and Blue which was really good. The dogs had handfuls of cookies. Friendly staff and service. I can't recommend the team enough... thanks Craig bar

Great craic from Robbie all night. Best free entertainment this year. Well worth a visit for the vast whisky range or just a nice pint of Kronenbourg or Heineken.

Best steak pie I've ever eaten, very hospitable and friendly. If you like pie you've got to go!

Visited when in the area as it was dog friendly. The dog was welcomed in and brought biscuits by Robbie which is great to see. Pie's we had were top notch , tasty , bursting with filling and quick service. Good range of drams and other drinks , great value for money. Will be back. Worth a visit to this dog friendly pub for an honest straightforward meal with some good banter.

Went there a few years ago while on vacation. We went in an the fellow at the bar said "if you love pies, then this is the best bar in the world, and if you hate pies then this is the worst bar in the world".Well we had the pies, and they were lovely. I had a curry vegetable pie, and my partner had a meat pie. Very cozy place.

Pies, ales, whiskey and a showRobbie and his mother keep this place running like a well oiled machine.Be prepared for a compliment of tasty pies, a warm welcome and some cringe- worthy conversation (courtesy of the host).A definite must in the area. Great food at reasonable prices.

A thoroughly enjoyable, if slightly odd evening. The pies were great, nicely cooked and tasty, the chips were a little plain but crisp, the mushy peas just mushy peas and the gravy nice and tasty but probably bisto. It may sound that it didn't think much of the food but I really enjoyed it all. The price tag, at Β£8.95 for pie and chips is great. To cap it off the host, and his mum were a true comedy double act, slightly fringe comedy, but funny. Give the place a go!
