Stayed at the Craigdarroch Hotel in November last year and had a wonderful experience. Firstly the location is just absolutely stunning, I couldn't get enough of the views. Our room overlooked the Loch with a four poster bed which was so comfortable. We were there with some friends and we dined at the Hotel twice (out of 4 nights) including the Sunday Roast which is highly recommended as is the Curry night. Breakfast was delicious too. There is so much to do in and around the area and some breathtaking views.Staff were brilliant and we enjoyed talking to Nigel, Richard and the chef and we were grateful for all the tips and guidance during our stay.Excited to visit again after the renovations and will definitely be back.

Incredible views over Loch Ness. You can sit and watch the weather roll in and out, whilst having a drink or bite to eat. We were sat in the bar which is dog friendly and it was perfect.Local Beers, nice wine. Great simple food menu.Attentive but not pushy staff. Everything done right. We had a lovely Cullen Skink (soup) for starter, followed by Beef Sunday lunch.I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best Sunday dinner I have eaten out! And I've tried few. Honestly, out of this world. Tarte Tatin to finish was a triumph too.I just wish I didn't live a six hour drive away, or I would be here all the time.

Excellent stay, thank you. Michelle, Richard and the entire staff were warm, welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Food and cider were excellent, really appreciated the vegan/vegetarian options. My husband LOVED the selections of local beers, they were fun to try. The view from our room was spectacular, the room itself was just large enough and very comfortable. Really enjoyed the entire experience.

Our stay at the Craigdarroch Inn was amazing! Not only does it have a beautiful, rural view of the Lochness; the new owners that took over in January have also done really wonderful things with it.Firstly they've hired friendly, experienced, knowledgeable staff. The rooms are clean and well tended too. The bed (and bedding) are comfortable. And the food and drink selection are to die for! The meals I had there were the best meals I had in three years. Not a one disappointed. The Craigdarroch Inn really made our time at the Loch Ness spectacular. We will definitely be coming here again.

Good room and breakfast...the decoration was clean but a little 'dowdy' and could do with a refresh. TV was OK but rather basic and strangely the bathroom light caused the picture to break up on BBC1.Friendly manager/host.Recommended to those wanting a reasonable priced hotel with beautiful views.

Beautifully situated hotel, great food and lovely owners. Spent time chatting with us and made us feel extremely welcome. Comfy and spacious room and a bonus that the hotel is dog friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We were doing the NC500 and Ideal place to start it from. Beautiful setting overlooking Loch Ness. The breakfast was the best I think I’ve ever had. High quality ingredients. We were lucky to have glorious weather and it was the perfect setting for glass of wine or two in their beer garden. Superb hosts & staff. Spotlessly clean. Thank you from Debra & Paul. We will definitely be back.

Had heard great reviews so husband and I decided to check it out for dinner whilst in the area. Sadly there was a power cut in the village and so the main menu wasn’t available, however the owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating given the circumstances. We were offered the Ploughman’s which was excellent quality local produce and great value. I definitely recommend adding on the extras too and with the breathtaking views it’s was a great experience.Hope to return another day and sample the menu as it looked excellent!
