Visited whilst travelling through. Culbokie Inn is a really lovely pub! The nicest food I've had in a long time - the haggis bon bons were amazing. Friendly staff and the fire was just what I needed. Hope to visit again in the future.

After a recent stay in the area, found this eaterie, warm welcome on entry, waitress have us sufficient time to peruse the menu, then came over to offer drinks, local beer is always a plus for me oj for boss and water for teenager, wife's haggis bon bons were a win, chicken goujons for myself and camembert for youngest, if your going to put sweet chili on plate say it, don't just put it on for colour, wasted half plate as she hates swet chilli, goujons? What was the dusting powder? And why chicken goujons and sauce is easy. Wife's steak pie was boiling and tasty, macaroni cheese was ok seasoning could do with seasoning and iron bru ribs with bbq beans well, more iron brew as people order because they expect the flavour to chuck norris you, I would expect the flavour to shine out and the beans to taste bbq, try the sweet chilli with the iron bru and bacon pieces in a bbq sauce with the ribs and call cowboy beans as done in the 80s and they were amazing, all in all an ok experience, it is a local pub, do local pub grub! amazing and will be beating repeat customers and locals away, few specials from local foods, fish meats etc, most people want to eat good plain hearty tasty foods that at the end they go best ever tasted!

We had lovely meals for our group of six last Sunday on my birthday. Food was piping hot, freshly cooked and served promptly after ordering. The staff delivered a birthday cake to me that I was not expecting and a great time was had by all. Thank you for the effort and quality of service you gave. We will be back in July when on holiday again. xx

We came in because we saw the post about the biscoff cheesecake. WOW, it was amazing! We also had the Guinness Stew and fish and chips, it was all fantastic and we went home very full and happy.

If I had thrown my starter at the wall it would have been straight through the wall it was that hard. My main was the rib eye steak. It came out and it was grey and no colour. Left a strange taste in my mouth. It also didn't look like steak. I get better from tesco. We all came home feeling sick. One member from our booking was up through the night being sick. I think maybe they need new staff in the kitchen because whoever thought the food looked good needs specsavers. No idea where the meat is from but its certainly not butcher steaks and its certainly not from bookers. This was our first time going and it was certainly our last time. My partner's starter was also like rubber. They definitely need someone with knowledge in the kitchen. Just an update for Jane it certainly was the same place. Went with some locals who didn't rate their meal either. Actually they were regulars. Not sure where you've been eating but it doesn't sound like the same place we were.
