Great simple food that’s reasonably priced. We enjoyed the haddock supper, and it was some of the best fish and chips I’ve had. It’s a great location too with a view of the harbor and a nice, clean interior.

Best seafood restaurant in Edinburgh maybe in the UK. 100% recommended Langoustines and breaded haddock. One thing the service I wasn’t happy. But we don’t need to pay service charge so I am good with it.

Ordered Cod fish n chips, I must say they're the best one's I've had so far in Edinburgh. A lovely and cosy place with an amazing interior, courteous staff and delicious items on the menu.

Very very nice chippy with sit in area away from the counter. Nice local beer. Fresh seafood. I had monkfish, wife had haddock, friend had lobster thermidor all glorious. Plus the chips are proper.

What can i say? Beautiful restaurant with great views of the harbour. The employees were so nice to us, the buttered haddock was fresh and delicious i really recommend the mussels as a starter!!! Nice place to eat fresh fish and seafood. I definitely come back.

Fantastic chip shop, with constant food quality. I have been a repeat client for a long time.Wheelchair access is good and covid controls are also of a high standard.I do recommend this and near by seating to eat while watching the harbour or a short drive to silver knows with great views across to Fife.

Wow what an amazing restaurant, great food, good choice of wines and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced, the prawn cocktail was so good, the fish and chips was so tasty. We cannot wait to return when we are next in Edinburgh.

I can't fault this place. Just been tonight for a meal with my wife before going home and all I can say is wow.The service was impeccable from the minute we walked through the door. The whole place is extremely clean inside. The food is just fabulous, the prawn cocktail is sublime. The monkfish was perfectly cooked as were the chips. My wife said the langoustines were the best she's had. Can't recommend this place enough, this is a sure fire visit whenever we're up here now.

We have been here for lunch, being near the sea and next to a fresh fish shop we thought it would be nice. The restaurant is elegant and clean, but honestly we were expecting something a bit different. First thing, the menĂč doesn’t offer too many choices, the calamari starter was really nice, but the mains we chose to try (monkfish curry and stew) were way too spiced, like with a strong oriental flavour which on my opinion completely covered the taste of the fish.Other than this the prices are quite high, the portions are large and I’m sure it’s good quality products, but I think the way they are cooked doesn’t make them justice.

The customer services are second to none!On entering I asked whether the fish was cooked separately from the chicken/other meats. Instantly the person behind the counter understood and asked if I was Muslim and then explained how he would accommodate everything to our dietary needs. This even extended to our waitress who recommended various dishes and even told us what to avoid (or what she can adjust to make things halal. Namely that the shallot oysters contained red wine.) Their knowledge is wonderful.Happy hour on the oysters, we had breaded and battered Vietnamese and garlic mayonnaise. Exquisite. I'm no fan of Oyster but my goodness, they have me converted!Garlic butter roasted lobster. We were worried this would be too small but on getting it were pleasantly surprised.I ordered a battered haddock and chips. It simply melted and flaked easily. Almost too easily as it was difficult to eat using a fork 😁Definitely a fan, definitely will return if we find ourselves in Edinburgh again. 5 out of 5 for sure.
