Lovely haddock and chips, some of the best I've ever eaten, really nice crispy and tasty batter, properly cooked fish and excellent chips, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Thoroughly recommended when in the area.

Amazing fish and haggis meals available here. The fact they do gluten free batter is a huge plus for me too.

On thee good side, the chips were beautiful, but on the bad you pay an arm and a leg for them! In Wales we pay £1.50 ish for a bag of chips but here it's £3! Only a take away and no toilets parking is just outside if you can get a space.

Beautiful fish ,lovely crispy golden batter, chips very good as was the chicken fillets. Grant you are doing a great job managing the shop,you have a lovely friendly staff.

Easy to order using an App. Delicious haddock in batter. Lovely friendly staff. Quick service. Always my first choice for fish and chip. Parking right outside the Friary.

I would give no stars if possible. Holidaying in the area and, on our last night decided on fish and chips. Biggest mistake made as the breaded fish suppers were the worst ever tasted. The fish was dried up with a tasteless dressing and the chips just greasy mush. Had it not been for me having had a glass of wine I would have taken them back to the shop and demanded my money back. How anyone can say this is a good fish and chip shop is beyond me.absoloutly awful

Decent fish and chips, well priced too. One of very few places that actually has real pieces of fish in the fish cakes rather than just mush!
